Clawmaster, I've trying to put together all of the Erie, PA area results, and I have pretty much everything from mid 1983 on WWF results, but I'm looking for more results from earlier than that. I only have a smattering from Cawthorne's site going back to the 1960s and 1970s and a few tidbits from the WAWLI papers in the 1940s. Is there anything other information out there. I'd be particularly interested in results from the Erie County Fieldhouse, as it seems there is nothing available anywhere (and I've tried Go Erie.com, Google searches, everything I could think of).

And if you're really ambitious, what have you got from the Erie Area wrestling shows, such as Warren, Oil City, Meadville, and Franklin (all PA). I remember those shows being advertised on the WWF Erie Tv shows.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Claw! That actually helps a lot. Most of those cards I did not have. I'm still trying to piece together a few more cards. Once I finish that up, I'll post what I have here.

Man I would have killed to see that Backlund vs. Buddy Rose match! Wish I could have seen that one.

If anyone else has anything from any era, any promotion, I'd love to see it.

That card is missing from Cawthorne's site, and is another I'm trying to piece together. Do you remember anything about it?

I'm finding I actually remember the older cards better than I remember more recent ones.:?

Post 'em if you got 'em, please. I'd appreciate any help I can get, and I'll take e'm as far back as they go. Oh yeah, and wasn't Pittsburgh Studio Wrestling taped at the Erie County Fieldhouse in 1974? Do you have any results from those shows?

And thanks to El Olympico. I double check those with what I have. By the way, Gannon Hall is beter known in Erie as the Gannon Hammermill Center if anyone is interested in that trivia bit.

All the help is greratly appreciated, folks.

Interesting cards there. It looks like the regular WWWF was actually competing with the Pittsburgh office as the weekly cards were sometimes within days of the WWWF's montly cards.

I assume the Chuck O'Connor on those cards was Big John Studd, but is that Terry Yorkston the same who later became a referee in Ontario?
