That being a little lazy doesn't have anything to do with Da Bears being on tonight does it Claw?

That and the tourney I was running plus the the OSW thread in the Rubber Room.

Sgt. Slaughter beat Michael Hayes dq
Boris Zhukov beat Brad Rheingans
Sgt. Slaughter & Greg Gagne beat Nick Bockwinkel & Larry Zbyszko
Curt Hennig drew Bill Irwin
Scott Irwin beat Drew Tossel
Att: 1,800

The venue was Sullivan Arena, and from the write-up in the newspaper, it looks like the tag match was the main event, and the match time was given as 17:45 of a 1 hour time limit. Drew Tossel also acted as a referee for some matches on the card.

Updated 1964 and 1965 Denver cards from research done by Tim Hornbaker. I'll try to get to the few other missing cards tomorrow.

There seems to be some confusion about this card. On my first "All My AWA Results" thread I had something different for this card. After checking and checking all my other AWA files the card should be

1/4/84 Las Vegas
Greg Gagne & Jim Brunzell & Baron Von Raschke & Mad Dog Vachon beat Jerry Blackwell & Ken Patera & Sheik Adnan & Mr Saito
Billy Robinson beat Jesse Ventura dq
Blackjack Lanza beat Bobby Heenan COR
Jesse Ventura beat Buck Zumhofe
att: 6,000

The mystery has been solved. It was Hogan fan for life that gave me the sub Hogan listing. So I will go back and change it again.

St. Joseph, MO was another town that never saw Buddy Rogers defend the NWA World title. For the most part, they used Pat O'Connor defending a United States Heavyweight Title as the top title, but here they brought in Verne Gagne to defend the AWA title. The preview article mentioned "[Verne Gagne] is recognized by the American Wrestling Association as the No. 1 pro in the business. The National Wrestling Alliance gives its recognition to Buddy Rogers."

Friday, October 19, 1962 – Auditorium – St. Joseph, MO – 2,600
1) Matt Jewell defeated George Anderson
2) Thor Hagen defeated Danny Plechas via DQ
3) Sonny Myers fought Bob Orton to a double-CO
4) United States Heavyweight Champion Pat O’Connor defeated Lee Henning in three falls
5) World Heavyweight Champion Verne Gagne defeated Bob Geigel in three falls

The sports pages that would have had the results from this card are missing unfortunately. From the preview article: "Gagne has the backing of the American Wrestling Association, an organization of matchmakers who clain mat jurisdiction in 22 states". No mention of Buddy Rogers.

Friday, November 23, 1962 – Auditorium – St. Joseph, MO
1) Roy Collins vs. Stan Stasiak
2) Tiny Mills vs. Bill Dromo
3) Nelson Royal vs. Thor Hagen
4) Bob Geigel vs. Red Bastien
5) World Heavyweight Champion Verne Gagne vs. Sonny Myers

Will add those later. Not surprised Gagne was wrestling in St. Joseph, Missouri. I've found him in Waterloo, Iowa and Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Tuesday, August 2, 1966 - Mills County Fairgrounds - Malvern, IA
1) Luke Brown & Tim Woods vs. Stan Pulaski & Harley Race
2) Jake Smith vs. Danny Plechas
3) Dale Lewis vs. Ron Reed

I don't think this is a proper AWA card. Malvern is just outside of Omaha.

It's Omaha. I'll add it to my Omaha file if I don't have it already.  Going to add the St. Joseph cards in a few minutes.
