Thought I sent to the Japanese results to the claw few months ago... Maybe I missed something.

Jahno!

I apolagize if these results are already listed but I was too tired to look though all 16 pages.  I hope they are all new to everyone.

I have a question:  Do these record books ever get updated from beginning to end?

2/05/59  Miami-  lost to Argentina Rocca

2/08/59  Sarasota-  lost to Haystack Calhoun

2/09/59  Tampa-  lost to Argentina Rocca

2/10/59  St. Pete-  w/ Mike DiBiase lost to Argentina Rocca and Ray Villmer

Bobby,

I try and update my record books on the Mid Atlantic Gateway as time permits and new results are uncovered.  Dick and I shoot for everyone updated at least once a year.

You did send them. I probably deleted them by mistake.

I found two Mobile, Alabama match listings and dates on KM. The advanced search on KM works great. I've asked diamond for the complete cards on the Bruiser thread I bumped in the Gulf Coast forum.

Added those listings.

Were there dueling promoters in Miami at that time?

As for updating record books from start to finish, I plan on doing that during 2011. After I get done with Bruiser, I'm going to do Wilbur Snyder. After Snyder, I'll update the Nick Bockwinkel record book from start to finish. Then do the same for Bob Backlund. Then maybe Larry Zbyszko. After Larry Z, then I'll do it for somebody else.

Some things I have always wondered with a career history:

Care to estimate:

What % of results have been recorded?
What % of results are available, but not researched from newspapers etc?
What % of results are lost in time (never advertised in newspapers, no recorded results by fans)?

Also, what % of results are wrong? Wrong could be an advertised wrestler who did not appear, but we only have the advertised card; or an incorrect newspaper report; or just a mistake or typo by a researcher, or even worse, just a made up result.

Jim,

Thanks for getting the Alabama results.

I was thinking that Snyder wrestled Bruiser in Alabama inn the early 60's when they took their "feud" all over the country.

I did not find this Dick the Bruiser match listed--hope it is not a duplicate.  Per the February 23, 1957 edition of the Racine Journal Times, the following was reported under the television and radio listing for Channel 9:

Boris Volkoff & Nicoli Volkoff vs Larry Williams & Johnny Carlin; Angelo Poffo vs Jerry Christy; Gino Angelo vs Jerry Gordet; Pedro Godoy vs Don DeCortez; Dick The Bruiser vs Aldo Bogni.  Matches originated from Marigold and Jack Brickhouse was at ringside to report the contests.

I think I mentioned this (above) 1987 result earlier but I didn't locate it in the thread when I searched.  So it's easier for me to submit the clipping in a second time than keep scouring the topic.
