Just found this one over on EBay. program up for bid but a real high starting price of $50 will keep me away from it.

Chicago, IL
May 1, 1959
Marigold Arena

Bruiser & Hans Schmidt vs Wayne Bock & Killer Konovsky
Ricki Starr vs Johnny Kace
Alex Karras vs Bobby Managoff
Doug & Johnny Gilbert vs Zack Malkov & Poroforio Longoria

I think between Marigold and Rainbow in Chicago there may be a lot more results as these two arenas weren't covered as much as The Amphitheatre was.

A nice early career find, Fantasmagori.

Even more rare... a win for Gregory Jarque!!  It seems like he was one of the highest profile names in the 50s who I would run across, but usually in the loss column.  Maybe I just haven't seen enough of Jarque's career results.

Guess Jarque got his revenge in Bismarck for this loss to Bruiser (new card too):

7/2/1955 Austin, MN @ National Guard Armory
Fred Atkins beat Karl Karlson 18:45
Butch Levy beat Nick Roberts 17:04
Dick Afflis beat Gregory Jarque 13:12

Also explains Bruiser's no show in Winona, Minnesota that night.

I have Bruiser in Chicago that night too although the Chicago listing might be wrong. Have added both your "new" cards to my computer file.  Thanks!!

That makes more sense.  No problem about the mix-up. I certainly appreciate all the research you do.

The original ballpark program for the July 17, 1957 card is now up for bid on EBay. Bruiser was schduled to meet Don Eagle but Eagle no-showed and Andre Bollet took Eagle's place like Claw has listed.
Program looks to be in good shape. I will definitely throw a bid on it.
