These results were found by old friend George L. who is coming out with an updated Crusher Record book in the near future. Seems he had kept some of the results that I had sent him from way back in 1978 when I was a regular at The Hammond Civic Center. Now if he can only find that Gomez-Bockwinkel AWA title match that was held in Hammond around that time. Jan 28, 1978 Hammond, IN Loser Wave the White Flag Match\ Bruiser & Paul Christy beat Jimmy & Johnny Valiant Moose Cholak and Major Duke George were the flag bearers Handicap Match...Moose Cholak beat Major George & The Strangler 2 more matches Feb.18, 1978 Hammond, IN Ivan Koloff vs Dick the Bruiser The Valiants & The Strangler vs Art Thomas, Spike Huber & Paul Christy March 18,1978 Hammond, IN Bruiser vs Jimmy Valiant April 15, 1978 Hammond, IN Bruiser & Art Thomas beat Killer Verdu & Jimmy Valiant Moose Cholak beat The Strangler & Duke George Bounty Hunter #2 vs El Bracero Spike Huber vs Buddy Rogers Jr June 3, 1978 Hammond, IN Street Fight Dick the Bruiser beat Jimmy Valiant Wilbur Snyder & Moose Cholak NC Killer Verdu & Ivan Koloff

Dick the Bruiser vs Superstar Billy Graham I had heard of this match long ago, but could never find anything solid to support it. Until a little while back I had seen footage of it on you tube. Any information from viewing the video would be a great asset to me to research this better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kiZEAP6EoY Perhaps someone can recognize the arena or guess a era by looking at the shape the wrestlers were in. My Guess is between 1973 to 1975 by looking at Graham.

Looks like Chicago Amphitheatre footage, just the closeups though. The ref shirts don't look like Illinois sanctioned issue, though. The silent footage got sound through canned crowd fx and sound effects added by Polish Joe in a painstaking process, I have learned, as he took on the project to make the "Mat Classic" segments.

Off the top of my head I know Graham and Bruiser wrestled twice in singles matches. One in St Louis and I saw one here in Chicago. There were some tag matches too.

May 6, 1977 St Louis Dick the Bruiser DDQ WWF Champ Superstar Billy Graham it was a non-title match Now to look for the Chicago match. I know it happened because I saw it. It was another DQ ending. Not sure but I think it was a DDQ again.
