LOL @ The Snow. We're getting it here too though not as bad as you.

And it wasn't the language barrier. I just didn't see the sarcasm.

1960 and 1961 have been updated again. Since The Milwaukee Sentinel on the GNA, I'll probably be adding extra info from time to time on earlier Milwaukee cards. Up next to edit 1962. Thanks again to everybody that has helped.

From 1958:

Note: The Omaha/Abilene thing is still bugging me.

I have a clipping stating that The Bruiser in Abilene is Dick Afflis if that's any help. This is a preview for the Nov 18 card.

It also includes a wrestling poem!

That does help. I've seen that clipping. That's why it still bugs me.

When I first saw him billed as "The Bruiser" in Abilene, I thought there was a chance it wasn't Dick the Bruiser. It does seem weired that he worked in Nebraska and Abilene at the same time, if only because Abilene is right in the middle of Texas, but he didn't seem to work any of the cards in Amarillo, which is further north.

1961 to 1966 have been re-done. I have a boatload of stuff to add to 1967 so that year will have to wait until tomorrow.

Actually there wasn't a boatload of stuff to add. I'd already added all the listings from DuPree's site but I did add some additional details and correct some typos. 1968 coming tonight or possibly tomorrow.

Notes from Larry Matysik on the 2/22/69 Kiel card and the 2/22/69 TV show: Everyone paid their dues, including Dusty Rhodes, although the tag team match on TV Feb. 22 is an interesting mix of names. Plus, no wonder Dick the Bruiser was regarded as such a unique character. Who else would have caused disqualifications by battering both his opponent and his tag team partner in the same match?)

Notes from Larry Matysik: Talk about stealing the show. In the tag match under the double main event, after Dick the Bruiser and Bob Geigel lost as Geigel was pinned, Bruiser went berserk and began pounding Geigel. But Geigel fought back and the two traded punches. Suddenly Bruiser stopped, put up his hands, and offered to shake hands with Geigel which he did. Then Bruiser tore around the ring, bouncing from side to side off the ropes. He leaped from the ring, and, rather than follow the long aisle back to the dressing room entry on the stage, Dick wandered among the fans. He even went up the steps into the raised mezzanine at one point. Then he walked out through the concession lobby. No matter how good the other bouts were that evening, who were people talking about – again! – when they went home? Remember that Dick was the madman who, upon making his 1963 debut on tv in the Khorassan Room, jumped out of the ring, grabbed a customer’s cup of beer, poured it over Dick’s own head, and then left through the lobby of the fancy Chase Hotel. Like the above moment at Kiel, none of it was planned or expected. Keep in mind, too, Dick was the “bad guy!” It was just Dick the Bruiser being Dick the Bruiser . . . with Sam Muchnick chuckling and giving his approval after.

In the Japan results, "Kim III" should be "Kintaro Ohki".  His real name was "Kim Ill" (or "Il"), not Kim the Third. During that time, he wrestled as "Kintaro Ohki" in Japan.

Jahno.
