I had TBS in the early 80's it only last a few years and we didnt get it back in our area till 91.. So when we did have it use to watch GCW/WCW on TBS....One major angle/match was Buzz Sawyer vs Butch Reed in a steel cage and Sawyer lost so he had to shave his head. They was going to show a clip of the match but they couldnt find the film...later in the show Sawyer comes out the the film around his neck saying its a shame they lost the film. The week the NWA fines Sawyer $1,000 for destroying the film My question is when did the steel cage happen...thanks

The Cage match where Sawyer got his head shaved was on the 12/25/82 Omni card. Sawyer "destroying the tape" happened on the 2/5/83 WCW TBS show.

Thanks for the info...Thats the only angle I can remember from watching GCW...other than when Bob Backlund showed up with Ric Flair to Promote their title vs title match.
