I can confirm Terry Kay wrestled in Winston-Salem in the April 16,1970 match listed  below because I was there. His partner is listed incorrectly.Tiny Anderson of the Kentuckians was Terry Kay's partner that night. I don't remember Big Boy Brown wrestling for Jim Crockett at all in 1970.Please correct me if I am wrong.

"Thursday, April 16, 1970

The listing of Luke Brown is in fact incorrect. I believe his long-time partner, Jake Smith, used the name "Tiny Anderson" while wrestling in the Mid-Atlantic region. Thanks for catching that! Still wondering about the Terry Martin working the Central States region!

I just sent an inquiry to Bob Leonard and asked if he could check with Leo Burke, who's one of his close pals, to test his recall with the dates & results from the original post.  I also attached the grid of Cormier aliases and suggested if Leo had anything more to add, it would be appreciated.

The guy on the right is Leo Burke.

Absolutely. But he wrestled for Jim Crockett Sr. in the late sixties and early seventies as Bobby Kay. When I first posted this photo on the internet in 2004, I got many e-mails saying I had the names wrong. My response was that I only knew the names they wrestled under in the Charlotte territory. Later fan70s who is from Canada created the list of the different names the Cormier brothers used in other territories.

Yes Leonce Cormier aka Leo Burke aka Bobby Kay in JCP was wrestling in the Central States  as Tommy Martin during the first half of 1970.I have been searching for ads in several of the newspapers today from that territory. I have come up with zero so far featuring Terry Martin between Jan.-June,1970 but many advertising Tommy Martin in the first half of 1970. Here is an example of the many I found:

Could it be then, that all listings for Terry Martin in Central States in april 1970 are wrong and should in fact be attributed to Tommy Martin?

I have 11 matches for Terry Martin for that month, but NONE for cards where Tommy Martin appears. One would think that the brothers would be booked on the same cards - at least occasionally.

Edit: This is more than likely the case. Found clippings for 4 of the supposed Terry Martin matches so far, and all of them were actually Tommy Martin.

I'm thinking that must be the case. I'm so glad I brought this up in the first place as it has led to some really meaningful conversation and corrections!
