Thanks. I saw it on Facebook in a longform post and would have done it myself, but my phone would have mangled the formatting as I condensed it to results only.

Buck Robley was booking and as a booker he tended to push himself way too hard. By the late 1980s he was well past his prime, so it made what was already a problematic situation worse.

Sorry if I've added some cards that have already been posted on the feed. With 69 pages now of great info it's hard to note what has been already put on the board. Don't mean to take credit not meant to be due.

The smaller cards being posted now, even if previously posted, are nice because they are easier to focus on since they are not usually in a larger section of results. Gives a nice snapshot into how the guys were being matched up, feuds going on, and the general talent in and out of the area at a given time.
So previously listed or not, I like 'em for that as an AWA guy.
A card like the Albert Lea one, for example, would have been mentioned on an AWA interview back at the time, but just at the end of someone's promo. Adrian Adonis may have went on about being the new tag champs in a promo a week before that show, for example, and at the very end as he was walking off would have said something like "...oh, and Albert Lea Minnesota, get ready! I'm coming!"...no mention of who he was against or any real details.

These add the details nicely.

6/30/87 - High School - Roseau, MN

Curt Hennig, Boris Zhukov & Soldat Ustinov vs Wahoo McDaniel, D.J. Peterson & Ray Stevens (sub for Jimmy Snuka)
AWA World Ladies Champion Sherri Martel vs Candi Divine
Steve Olsonoski vs Kevin Kelly (w/Sherri Martel)
Jerry Sags vs Stoney Burke
Mitch Snow def Brian Knobs

This show was talked about on the Rasslin Memories podcast with host Glen Braget saying the date was 6/30. I see a show was held on the same date in Minneapolis. Not sure if shows were held on the same day or not.

June 30, 1987 was a Tuesday. Minneapolis to Roseau is a 6 hour drive since that town is located about 20 to 30 minutes from the Canadian border (and, from a Roseau native I once worked with, is in many ways more culturally Canadian than Minnesotan or American). If it was a weekend with an early matinee and a late evening start, I could possibly see guys jumping in the car for the long drive, but there is no way it could have been done midweek. One of the dates has to be incorrect.

It looks like 6/28 is the correct date for the Minneapolis card upon checking dates on this board.
