I don't really remember seeing many run-ins from guys in the dressing room from those big MSG cards from the '70's. Did it happen much though on house shows that were not televised?

at times yes.  When Stan Hansen was booked on his roll after breaking Bruno's neck in Harrisburg he was facing Putski.  Harrisburg is a small venue.  1600 fans was a sellout.   Bobo Brazil did the run in when Hansen went for the lariat on putski.  Hansen worked stiff at the small venues.   And I recall Monsoon doing a run in also in the mid to late 70's their also.  Just cant remember whose match it was.

Reminds me of the Bruiser Brody vs Monsoon match in Harrisburg now that i am thinking of him (monsoon)  I never sat at a live even and seen what i did their with those two.  When slamming each other into the turnbuckles the ring slid a easy 3 to four feet.  And that is no exageration.   They worked very stiff together.

Back on subject.  Thier wasnt many run ins.  That is why it would have been great to do a run in with a major star from the NWA.  It wouldnt have been as expected and like i think would have saved both Graham and Andre's reputations, yet also would have built up either Race or Rhodes to later face Graham.  Bob beating by pinfall both Rashke and Kowalski would have helped him tremendously then for his build up for Graham.  Bob had no real build up, and the McMahons are to blame.

It appears the August 25th listing for Vancouver should actually be 1983. Andre won a battle royal. It was a Thursday card.
