I've fixed the date at wrestlingdata.com. Please never take wrestlingdata to be gospel. Far too many of our stuff there was taken from unreliable sources like Cawthon and Shedlock. Please point out any errors you see on the site, as the aim is to make the site as reliable a source of information as possible.

No worries Kriss. Part of what we do as 21st century reserchers is correct all the misinformation of the past.

I will say this for the Mid-Atlantic territory reseach project, however. Admittedly, there may still be a few errors, but with the help of Mark Eastridge, Carroll Hall and others, we have put together a territory listing that is at least 98% accurate for what we have uncovered.

The goal is to be at 100% accuracy, and we are always uncovering new listings weekly, like cman73 and spatulapup do on a regular basis.

Thanks to all that help out with this project!

More Updates coming soon, including a restructured account of the Southeastern Wrestling Corporation listings from 1933-39 before Jim Crockett and Bill Lewis bought out Pete Moore and truly made this a Mid-Atlantic territory.

There is a ton of misinformation in the Shedlock newsletters, especially where it pertains to the JCP TV tapings.

You only have to watch the TV episodes that Shedlock claims were taped in "Shelby" to realize that the arenas are different so there is no way that every one can be from there.
