I've had these clippings for 4 years now, I'd would love to know more about this short-lived independent group. Judging from the names on these ads, this group used a mix of veterans and rookies from the Montreal and Toronto wrestling scenes, as well as guys who had been with the International Wrestling territory just before Gino Brito folded. This is the only card I've found so far, but there was a very rare commercial VHS release of another show per Blonde Adonis from this thread on Kayfabe Memories (UWA thread on KM). Two of the matches listed on that thread have appeared on YouTube, which I'll link in subsequent posts. As for the show I have clippings for, Carlton Atkins supplied partial results from his files. This first clipping has the lineup of wrestlers scheduled to appear along with belltime and date, but no matches or venue. Both these ads appeared in the Humber Coven, the student newspaper of Humber College. Clipping #1 was printed in the 02/11/88 edition of the Coven. I'll post the second clipping with the full lineup in the next post. Here's the second ad (as published in the 02/25/88 issue of the Humber Coven) for the 03/17/88 Humber College card. This one has the full line-up and venue. The card was taped for TV (I'd love to find a copy of this show, someone must have recorded this back in the day) and Tom Zenk no-showed, as you'll see in the results I received from Carlton. I added a few extra details for clarification. Here we have a Tom Zenk interview that ran the day of the show in the Humber Coven, with photos of Zenk from his Montreal and AWA runs and a pic of Steve DiSalvo (wrestling under his Montreal name Steve Strong). Lots of talk here about Zenk's WWF run. The promoter of the UWA is identified here as a Humber College alumni (Eric Prashar), so that solves the mystery of who was behind this group. I found one more clipping pertaining to the 03/17/88 Humber College show. This one came from the Tom Zenk, appears to be a wrestling column than ran in the Saturday Toronto Sun.
