NWA champs include both Heavyweight and Junior heavyweight champs, this excludes Roger Kirby & Ron Starr from the list below. Besides championship defenses, I'm be surprised if anyone besides Lou Thesz wrestled in all the NWA Southern territories, including championship defenses. A few others who might have quailfied are Andre the Giant, Bobo Brazil, and Rocket, Flash and Sputnik Monroe.

I would appreciate it if anyone would ascertain that any of the wrestlers listed below did compete in all the NWA Southern territories and ad any wrestlers I may have neglected to mention.

NWA Southern areas include the following:

Here are the ones I can tell you without looking at my files.

Norvell Austin wrestled in Dallas with Koko Ware as the PYTs Pretty Young Things.

Ox Baker wrestled for Leroy McGuirk in Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Ox also wrestled in Knoxville.

Jimmy Garvin did wrestle for McGuirk and later for Watts.

Bob Griffin wrestled in Amarillo. I'll need to check Dallas.

Yes The Assassin wrestled in Knoxville. He wrestled in Amarillo too. I'll have to check Dallas. I know his brother wrestled in Dallas. LOL!!

I think the Fabs did a few shots for Watts. I'll need to check for sure.

Ken Lucas wrestled in San Antonio for Blanchard, Amarillo for the Funks, Arizona and El Paso early during his career. I'll need to check Dallas and Oklahoma/Arkansas/Louisiana.

Bob Orton Jr wrestled for Watts.

Bob Roop indeed wrestled in Dallas and also wrestled for Watts.

Dick Steinborn wrestled in Knoxville.

Kevin Sullivan wrestled in San Antonio for Blanchard and Amarillo for the Funks. I don't think he hit Dallas.

Johnny Walker wrestled in Knoxville. Maybe in Dallas. I'll have to check that one.

There are huge gaps in my Knoxville, Alabama and Gulf Coast results. So when I say a wrestler didn't wrestle in one of those places, I'm only going by the results I have. Don't take my word as gospel on those territories.

Dick Steinborn did color commentary for Southeastern/Alabama. He was supposed to get involved in a feud with a then rule breaker Bob Armstrong, but he was injured in a pretty bad car wreck that basically ended his career.
