Not sure of his debut year (would guess 1977 or so) but Steve Hall aka Tom Stone became the Kenny Jay of the 80s and early 90s, dropping numerous TV bouts for the AWA and WWF at TV tapings.  He had the skills to remain on the undercards for AWA house shows and even did the emergency duty replacement role on WWF live events in the midwest.  On the Milwaukee indy scene he would gravytrain off Dick Beyer's legacy and appear as Doctor X by the early 90s, and ran numerous crews to the TV tapings for WWF job duty on the midwestern loop.   He worked St. Louis as Steve Hall IIRC and did "The Executioner" on one AWA taping in 1989 as partner for the Texas Hangmen.   How many Stone results you have in that file, Claw?

Stone was "Tompall Mendocino" on the Milwaukee indie scene as well. I pissed him off in St. Francis, WI once when he was being stretchered out as "The Legendary Doctor X." I pointed in his face and called out "Tom Stone, Tom Stone." I remember the dirty look he gave me through the mask. But he deserved it for desecrating Beyer's gimmick. Somewhere in my collection I have Stone's directions for the proper way to put a match together which was given to guys he trained. Several pages long. If I ever fined it, I'll post it sometime.
