Promoter Elmo Chappell is also Red Dugan. All of these are from the Marietta Daily Journal, some of which is online for a fee via Genealogy Bank.
The southern junior heavyweight title is quite likely this one. I mean, where else would Tommy Ward be holding the title?

MR. ELMO CHAPPELL IS STAGING A DROP-KICKING DUEL WEDNESDAY
by Don Schanche
Mr. Elmo Chappell, local wrestling impressario, is a very interesting man. Mr. Chappell knows everything is to know about wrestling. He himself wrestles under the name of Red Dugan. But this time, Mr. Chappell has gone too far!
Each week, Mr. Chappell brings in an announcement telling what is scheduled to happen at the regular Wednesday night wrestling matches in Larry Bell auditorium. Each week we take Mr. Chapell's announcement and use the information contained therein to write a short story for our wrestling fans who read the Journal sports page.
This week, Mr. Chappell has a boxing match billed at the top of his wrestling announcement. He says that the bout is to be fought because of some altercation several of the wrestlers had at last week's matches. But Mr. Chappell's idea of a boxing match is vastly different from mine.
He describes the proposed bout (and I quote) as a "rough and tumble affair, meaning that drop-kicks and tackles are allowed and either man can win by pinning the other's shoulders to the mat for the count." For the enlightenment of boxing fans who may be confused by the unusual rules of Mr. Chappell's boxing match, he adds "in case of a knockout by either wrestler it would be for the count of ten."
Shame on you Mr. Chappell. Of course it would be for the count of ten. In case of a knockout I rather think it would be for the count of about 100!
I have never heard of anyone being knocked out in a boxing match by a swift drop-kick from his opponent, but if such a thing were to happen, I imagine it would be for a considerable period of time. And if, by chance, the poor victim happened to be tackled before his opponent drop-kicked him, I wouldn't be at all surprised if he were incapacitated for several days.
The bout is to be fought between "Honey Boy" Hannagan, of Charleston W. Va., (no relation to "Gorgeous George," of Muscle Beach, Calif.) and Tommy Ward, of Atlanta. Honey Boy weighs 225 pounds and is considered to have the advantage over Ward, who barely tips the scales at a scant 212.
Mr. Chappell says Ward challenged Honey Boy after he and another wrestler, "Wild Bill" Collins angered him by refusing to cooperate in a team wrestling match. They were all on the same team, but Hannagan and Collins refused to help Ward in his fight against the other team, so Ward lost.
To settle the argument that ensued, it was decided to fight it out in that good, clean, American manner - by putting on the gloves and entering the ring. Whether it should be called a boxing bout or a drop-kicking duel, however, is a point of contention.
Anyway, you can be sure of one thing. The Marquis of Queensbury will be spinning like a top in his grave come Wednesday night. The fight begins at 8:30 p.m. and I, for one, do not intend to miss it!

I knew George Harris was often booked as the Baby Blimp but the Nature Boy Harris billing is one I've never seen until this thread.

...
Promoter, as usual, for Marietta was Elmo Chappell. Wrestling was much more sporadic at this time. There were several stretches without ads and it seems that no cards were staged at all during those times. Marietta seems to die as a regular stop at the end of 1952 and wouldn't host regular cards again (at least on this level) for a long, long time.

From near the bottom of the wrestling quality barrel comes this series of cards from Eatonton, GA.
July 23, 1954 Eatonton, GA (Eatonton Grammar auditorium)
Yank Gavel vs. Lou Stinson
Ken Frier vs. Bill Alexander
Choo Choo Lynn vs. Chuck Musick
July 30, 1954 Eatonton, GA (Eatonton Grammar gym)
No matches announced, but M.E. Thomas, manager of the Imperial Boys Club, said, "all drinks sold Friday night will be sold in paper cups." Supposedly state law says that soft drinks sold at boxing and wrestling events in Georgia must be sold in paper cups.

August 5, 1954
Take it easy, take it easy, begged M.E. Thomas of the Imperial Boys Club this week as he announced the third professional wrestling match will be held at the grammar school gym Saturday night August 7.
In the first match the fans got so excited that one of the wrestlers was struck by a soft drink bottle. THe next time they served drinks in paper cups. Last time several of the sprectators crawled in the ring and were about murder the guy.
This week there will be police protection and the matches will be a six man battle royal. The man who walks out wins the event. It will be plenty nasty, according to Mr. Thomas.
August 20, 1954 Eatonton, GA (Eatonton Grammar gym)
