The Wrecker aka Frank Shields aka Bull Bullinski

Hugh McKenzie aka Tex McKenzie

Sonny Cooper aka Don Jardine

Notice the Southeast Texas independent promotion. Ray Clements used Joe Pizza and his crew after a disagreement with Houston promoter and talent supplier Morris Sigel.

No, he was McKinley Pickins.

Abby started as a Zelis Amhara rip off, a 30s guy who might have been from Quebec. Abby probably started in either Pittsburgh or the Ontario area which provided jobbers for Studio Wrestling (and probably not one of the Ohio jobbers from the 60s). I love to connect the dots for these guys, like Gene Sanner and Frankie Scholl in the last month. You might have read them at one point and wondered who the fuck those guys were supposed to be.

Regarding Abby, if we can establish a near complete run of Studio Wrestling cards we could determine which clique he belonged to. I guess there is the chance that he gave an interview on his beginnings where he went into details and told the truth........... but who am I kidding.

I wondered if Kurt Hess might be Kurt von Hess aka Bill Terry. It looks like the time frame works.
