Sure. This will be fun.

I saw Ken Lucas wrestle live in person once. I was on vacation In Corpus Christi, Texas with my family right after school ended during June of I want to say it was 1982. I went to a wrestling card that had Tully & Gino vs Ken Lucas & Ricky Morton as the semi main. Bruiser Brody vs Mongolian Stomper was the main event. Good card.

Thanks, Claw. The 1960 result is the earliest I've seen for Ken.

A bit of trivia for you. The "Pat Kelly" listed in the 1963 results was Paul Christy. This is where he and Kenny met. Christy made some appearances in the Gulf Coast not long after under that name and had a brief run against the Mysterious Medics with various partners (one was Gypsy Biviano also an Arizona regular). It may have been Christy who told Lucas about the GC territory.

Christy came back to the area in 1966 as "Chris Lucas" and he and Ken had a long run together.

Wasn't Tony Angelo a Pat Kelly around 1960, too?

Edit:

2/23/60 Washington DC
Bearcat Wright beat Eddie Graham
Johnny Valentine beat Gorgeous George
Donn & Mark Lewin beat The Sheik & Zebra Kid (Jim Austeri)
Enrique & Rito Romero beat Pat Kelly (Tony Angelo) & Chet Wallick

So were there two Pat Kellys simultaniously? Man, here I was hoping that this wouldn't happen. At least John Emmerling/Bobby Becker and Arbo seem disconnected enough from Angelo/Christy

Not sure about Angelo, but Seymour Koenig was "Pat Kelly" in the 50s.

Do you have any results for him?

There was an Irish Pat Kelly in the 40s and a Pat Kelly in the UK in the 50s.... no clue about either of them. I wonder if Becker managed to be an Irish.

*looks into his files*

June 7, 1973 – Zinck; New Glasgow, NS
Pat Kelly (aka Rick Martel) beat Serge Bone

Oh come on, this is getting ridiulous!

I'm pretty sure the Mummies were Bill Bowman & Tony Gonzales. This was around the time when Don Lortie was cutting back his appearances with Gonzales as the Mysterious Medics. Bowman & Joe Turner were later the original version of the Interns.

Edited: Just saw the P'Cola card with the Medics vs the Mummies, so obviously Gonzales wasn't always one of the Mummies. I still think he and Bowman were to begin with and Bill added another partner (possibly Turner) for this match.

I need to call Bowman and see if he remembers.
