Do you have any results from this group? I'm watching a tape that has footage that aired in Summer '82 but it looks earlier, featuring Greg Valentine and Swede Hanson when I'm pretty sure they were working elsewhere. Thanks!

I'll see what I can dig up. If I don't have any, I'm sure Vance Nevada does.

Just looked at Valentines career record, which only has these singles matches between Bravo and Valentine in Canada. 1979 03/25 Toronto, ON beat Dino Bravo by DQ 04/08 Toronto, ON beat Dino Bravo *Won the Canadian Heavyweight title 05/13 Toronto, ON lost to Dino Bravo by DQ 06/03 Toronto, ON lost to Dino Bravo *Lost the Canadian Heavyweight title Vance has an impressive Canada archive so I doubt that further single matchup results are available. Or who could have complenentary information?

Count Grog wrote: carlton st wrote:there were some shows in Detroit around Aug 80 IIRC also, have the ads but not results He managed El Santos I and II from what I remember. I saw "Superstars of Wrestling" in the late 70's on TV. Not the same stuff as the tape/dvd being watched in the original post, I don't think. The one I watched featured Denucci, Bravo, The Sheik, El Santos, Arion as a face, Waldo Von Erich...more I'm sure but can't remember off the top of my head.

Let's revive this thread with a clipping for a high school card in Grosse Pointe, MI 03/19/82. This is the first clipping I've ever seen for a wrestling card that came with an order form for tickets. From Grosse Pointe News, 03/11/82. I have the write-up on the show I'll post next. Attachment: GrossePointeNews_03-11-82_pg.6A.jpg (Downloaded 63 times)
