I'll go with the fastest 3 goals scored in 1 NHL game by one person.
Bill Mosienko did it in 21 seconds.

That can be done. Just get a hit in 57 consecutive games.
One record that cannot be broken is Cy Young's 511 wins. Win 20 games a year for 20 consecutive years...and you're not even 80% there. The game has changed to the point where it would be implausible for that record to be broken.
Another one might be Rickey Henderson's 1,406 stolen bases. Teams just don't steal bases like they used to, as it's become an outdated strategy.Last edited on Wed Nov 4th, 2009 08:26 pm by C.C. Milani

Johnny Van De Meer's 2 consecutive no-hitter record is the only baseball record with virtually no shot at being broken. Somebody might tie it, but you'd need 3 consecutive to break it.

Mike ''the Hippie'' Boyette's losing streak in UWF.
Seriously Cy Young's I don't think you are going to see 300 wins anymore much less 511 wins.

No one's going to get a hit in 57 consecutive games, but I see your point that it's more likely than 512 wins.
Another one: Iowa blocked two game winning field goal attempts in a row against UNI in this season's opening game.

I agree about Cy Young's record.

Didn't the Alabama DT do the same exact thing this year, a few weeks ago?

I thought he blocked two FGs in a game, but not two on consecutive plays, both being game winning attempts by the opponent.

Richard Petty's 200 NASCAR wins. A phenomenal NASCAR year these days would be 10 wins...

In 1879 Will White had 75 complete games for the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds played 81 games total.
Young's career of 749 complete games is 100 better than the next nearest competitor.
Pete Maravich's collegiate scoring average, 44.2. One one person is within 10 points of it - Austin Carr - and he is barely so.

Cael Sanderson going undefeated for his entire college career and winning 4 NCAA wrestling titles can only be tied, and I doubt that ever happens.
Wilt Chamberlain has a bunch that will never be broken. 100 points in a single game, 50 ppg average for a season, 55 rebounds in a single game, never fouling out over his entire career.
Favre's 300+ career interceptions.
Celtics winning 8 straight NBA titles.

Gretzky's 50 goals in 39 games, or 92 Goal season.

This one is literally impossible at this point because the entire game would have to change and go back to at least a 4-man rotation and a complete philosophical shift in dealing with pitchers would have to take place, and it won't with these guys making $12 million a year now. So out of all the records, this is maybe the only one that CAN'T be broken.
