Now that baseball is over we can get back to a league that has real parity. Well sort of. It used to.
The highest profile game of the week is Sunday night with Dallas coming in to Philly.Last time in Philly the Cowboys got their doors completely blown off and would like nothing more than a fresh start (like a scoreboard reading 0-0) and another opportunity at it. First place on the line.
San Diego at the Giants is also very interesting as both teams were contenders last year but the loser here will have dug themselves a hole in terms of getting back to the postseason in 2009.
Arizona is in Chicago and this is an interesting battle between two fringe contenders. Somebody will be at just.500 afterwards and not happy about it.The Texans are 5-3 (an alltime franchise high) can they take the next step and take out the Colts? The Ravens get another crack in Cincinnati (they lost to them earlier in the year) and you know what another loss to Cincy would do to Baltimore in terms of tie-breakers down the road.
Miami is in New England which was the scene of one of the bigger upsets last year. Monday night has the Steelers in Denver taking on the Broncos.
Your picks, predicitions, stellar fantasy moves, smacktalk and in-game discussion are all on the table. Spreads are from the Yahoo Pick Em Pool so if you haven't made your picks, then slide over and get 'em in.
Redskins at Falcons (10)
Cardinals at Bears (3)
Ravens (3) at Bengals
Texans at Colts (9)
Dolphins at Patriots (10.5)
Packers (9.5) at Buccaneers
Chiefs at Jaguars (6.5)
Panthers at Saints (13.5)
Lions at Seahawks (10)
Chargers at Giants (4.5)
Titans at 49ers (4)
Cowboys at Eagles (3)
Steelers (3) at Broncos

Da Bears need this game badly. I'd stay away from betting on it. Bears are pretty good at home but if you've watched them this year, you know they suck.

| Depends on what version of the Arizona Cardinals show up. You never know.

| I'm sorry Redskins fans. Your team is an abomination. Your defense doesn't care and without Portis and Cooley, you have less than nothing on offense.

I am stuck watching the Chicago/Arizona game. Yay.
EDIT: They just switched me to Green Bay/Tampa Bay. Yay +1.

Peyton Manning has thrown 40 passes in the first half.

| Of course the Falcons want to make this game amusing. The combination of Ladell Betts and Rock Cartwright are killing us.

Great game. I loved it when the announcers kept insisting that TB should kick
a field goal & TB instead, goes for the TD.

GB/TB did end up being a pretty good game.

Kevin gilbride is a FUCKIN IDIOT, eli is destroying the chargers, first down you run instead of play action, then you take the ball out of eli's hands after he is killing the chargers when you could clinch this game and call it a day, instead you run the ball and play to not lose instead of play to win, these games remind me of when fassel was the giants coach and he would always go in his prevent d instead of tryin to stop teams

Also should Fisher be fired, for the fact that he didn't go to the asiatic prince earlier.
Also Josh Freeman looked good, man with the exception of Jamarcus black qb's are looking good in this league. LETS GO McNabb

I feel your pain KK. I was saying that same thing, that we are setting up for failure. Of course, I didn't actually say it out loud because it would have jinxed me, but ended up happening anyway!
