This has legit been the most competitive, interesting college football year that I can recall.  Kansas or Missouri have a legit shot at the number one BCS berth now, depending on the score.
It's telling of the college game when Dennis Dixon goes down and Oregon becomes a completely different team without him.

They fucked up by letting up with Illinois.  When they're on, they're tough and I'll have to see Kansas play for the first time tomorrow night to see how they compare.

Does tonight qualify?

It's really going to get fucked when Mizzo beats Kansas & then loses to OU in the Big 12 title game.

I think it would become West Virginia vs. Ohio State if that goes down

I would agree LAF but WVU is never a lock to beat the teams they are supposed to.

I'd bet on Missouri beating Oklahoma after watching them last night.

I'd love to see UGA take on Ohio State!  Go Dawgs!

Kansas only fell to 5th in the BCS, so they are probably in one of the big bowls.

Hawaii is probably in the BCS despite having the 119th hardest schedule of the 119 Division 1-A teams.

I hope that Oklahoma does win, as that would move UGA up.  There is literally no chance of Wannestedt/Pitt beating WVU, but if it could ever happen, this is the year of the upset.

Edit (Monday morning): HBF wrote:
Ohio State will lose to Michigan this year but most likely not before. It will keep Carr as coach and torment me for further seasons.  If Ohio State wins, Michigan fans everywhere win, as Carr will most likely be gone.  This may be the only OSU-UM game where I root against us.
And my superstition worked!:D

If OU holds on, who will the voters choose as Ohio State's opponent? Forget the "computer" fallacy. It's down to the USA Today Coaches Poll and the Harris Interactive Poll.  The composite of computer polls would only play in if the human polls have a discrepincy. Like last year with Florida, and in recent years with teams loking for the other BCS bids, the voters can, and will, put who they want in the game.

non nonference champs (UGA and Kansas) are next in line, with Virginia Tech, LSU, and Oklahoma after that (in that order as of Today's rankings). At that point it is basically up to the voters to pick the one who will be the opponent.

Who would y'all pick? (I guess USC is still alive too, although they'd have to jump all three teams) Who do you think will be picked?
