Ohio State hasn't played anybody yet. Their defense is good. Their offense is suspect.

Boston College- The best team in the so so ACC Conference

LSU- Are we looking at a LSU/Florida rematch in the SEC Title Game)

Oklahoma- Not really solf on them. They commit too many turnovers.

Kansas- Yes they are undefeated.

Arizona State- Yes they are undefeated.

I expect Kansas and Arizona State to both lose in short order.

Discuss.

I think LSU is still the best team in the nation.  The SEC is tough.

BC are frauds, perhaps moreso than South Florida.

I am not sold on Oklahoma or the Big 12 in general most years but they are pretty good.

Ohio State will lose to Michigan this year but most likely not before. It will keep Carr as coach and torment me for further seasons.  If Ohio State wins, Michigan fans everywhere win, as Carr will most likely be gone.  This may be the only OSU-UM game where I root against us.

I think LSU is the best, and Florida is VERY close to them.  If LSU wins out the res tof the regular season and wins the SEC title game, there is no question they are on top, IMO.

I think BC are frauds (to a degree at least), but disagree on South Florida. The Big East is tougher than the ACC this year, imo, and I think South Florida is for real. Out of Ohio State, BC, and USF, I think USF is the toughest team.

A lot are big on Oklahoma, and they are definitely good, but I'm not sure "how good". They didn't look great this week and have a pretty soft schedule.

USC!?

They look terrible. We'll see what they are made of with Oregon. I wouldn't put USC top ten right now.

I hate USC but they are strong & deep across the board. They have had a few tough games this year but overall they take care of business.

They are struggling against 1 and 2 win teams.  No way USC should be above any undefeated teams. Most 1 loss teams deserve to be ahead of them also.  Florida is one spot above them in the BCS, which is proper considering the level of competition both teams have played and how they have fared against that competition.

This is USC's Pac-10 schedule so far:

Washington st (2-5; 0-4):  47 - 14

Washington (2-5; 0-4):  27 - 24

Stanford  (3-4; 2-3): 23 - 24

Arizon (2-6; 1-4):  20 - 13

Their 4 Pac 10 games this year were against the four bottom feeders of the league. They barely escaped against 2 of them and lost to another. That's hardly top 10 material, not matter how much of Pete carrol's jizz Brent Musberger or anyone else swallows.

They're squeaking by against 1 and 2 win football teams. But it'll be moot when Oregon waxes them this week and USC drops out of the Top 20.

Oregon won't beat USC nor will anyone else this year.

You must be watching a different team play than I am. But I'll give you this, USC seems to really struggle against the unranked conference opponents (their last 3 losses and a number of struggles in between come against this kind of opponent). maybe they'll play above what they have this year because of Oregon's rank.

I don't think USC has played well enough in any game this year to beat Oregon if Oregon plays like they have, but maybe this will be their best of the season.

I'll give them credit. They played it tighter than I expected.

Oregon looked really good again. LSU despite some questionable coaching decisions came back to beat Alabama. Ohio State got it in gear in the 2nd half and beat Wisconsin. Kansas obliterated Nebraska. BC & Arizona State were pretenders.

My top five not how I think the BCS will rate them.

1. Ohio State
2. Kansas
3. LSU
4. Oregon
5. Oklahoma

It only took a suspect FLA State team to expose them too.  Boston weeps.

Ohio State came back to dominate the end of the Wisconsin game yesterday and Wisconsin's a solid team.  Not great, but they'd probably be winning the ACC.

How far has Nebraska fallen?   76 points given up to Kansas!  That's truly getting the smackdown laid on you.

LSU continues to frustrate. The Lunatic Fringe down here will all be jumping for joy, come Monday at work talking about how great the are.

The dominated at first going up 17-3 while running a pretty traditional offense and playing hard.  Then they get the big head start having weird play calling, and lackluster play.  I was rooting for Nick "Satan" by the end of the game.

Sad fact is they could have and should have blown them out, if they just keep running Hester up the middle and throwing in Kelland Williams here and there. Their O coordinater knows nothing of old fashioned ball control defense and Les Miles is gonna gamble with something every week.

Best talent in the country.  Don't know if they are the best team though.

I think I would have to have Oregon up there as they are a talented team.I also like Ohio State, but the Michigan game coming soon could cause their demise.Michigan has always been a good upset team. LSU,I agree should have blown out Bama. They are shaky at best.Only time will tell. I just gotta say that Notre Dame has been a huge disappointment. BC choked, and I am very excited about the UCONN run.I am hoping for a win over West Virginia that would be sweeeet!

LSU is clearly the most talented team. They dominated Bama, really, but made SO SO SO SO many ridiculous mistakes (like they do every week)! They are so undisciplined and run crazy shit when they can just overpower people the old fashioned way if they chose to do so.  It's almost surreal watching them. Like they are TRYING to make it close. Like Miles WANTS to be in those crazy situations.
