"The Walrus" Holmgren is hanging it up definitely after next season, so the Seahawks have went and signed their new head coach a year early.

I wonder if Mora, will inherit all cheese and "whine" that Holmgren leaves behind.  He still cries about the refs in Super Bowl XL.  Rumor has it that The Walrus will go into seclusion and then emerge covertly trying to take out each of the refs that oversaw SB XL.

What do you think of Mora?  Did not appear to be genius in Atlanta.  Was it management or was it Mora?

Holmgren might whine about the officiating in that Superbowl a bit too much, but he's spot on with most of it, I didn't care who won that game but IMO that was one of the most one-sided officiated games I've ever seen...the Seahawks were fucked over many times in that game..

And Mora will be a bust there too..

The calls went both ways if you look at the entire game, and it is the same ol' stuff earlier in the season with the Pats.   Everything was a big conspiracy.

When you look at the situation in Atlanta between the rotten-apple players and everything it is hard to blame Mora Jr.

I am surprised that Holmgren lasted this long in Seattle. The year that he went to the Super Bowl I actually thought that if he didn't get that far (or close to it) he was getting the ax.

My feelings on Holmgreen are that he is "good" but living off of the Green Bay memories for too long now. They are giving a guy a year to take notes, study the team and opponents which really sounds a helluva advantage.

Mora had a "Mora Meltdown" like his father at the end of his Atlanta stay. I don't see anything that would have helped him overcome that since then.
