Slowly but surely, baseball is getting a little WWE in them.  It started with Darryl Kile and there's been a few since.

My first thought also when I saw his age was that he must have been on the juice.

Legend has it the very first day he walked into what is now Minute Maid Park (after a few years pitching in the cavernous Astrodome), he looked around and said "There's no fucking way I can pitch here." He had a terrible season and that finished him as an Astro.

The Astros even had their own Chris Benoit of sorts.

Left his car running in the garage. Killed himself and his son, almost killed his wife and daughter.

Damn you Vince. Damn you Bud Selig.

Lima was inconsistent, and could suck pretty hard, but was entertaining and had a good streak in KC. And yes, there's the ex-wifes awesome teats.

Yep, but I wasn't gonna be the one to say it, lest I feel Milani's wrath.

It's a baseball thread dammit.  You HAVE to mention steroids.

Offically,Wilson's suicide was ruled an accident. Unofficially, one never knows but I find it impossible to believe he intentionally killed his son.

Lima was a real character. How does a guy lose 16 games and have ERAs over 6.50 TWICE?

ESPN says he was just at the Dodgers game Friday night.

As far as the steroids stuff here goes, at this point it's morphed into an unintentionally pathetic self-parody

I'm not saying it's definitely steroids or another PED, but yes, every day athletes whose teammates and wife thought they were healthy drop dead of massive heart attacks at the age of 37.
