Frank Williams racing team owner (now Sir Frank) and Frank Williams actor.

Peter Sutcliffe sportscar racer from the 1960s and Peter Sutcliffe mass-murderer from the 1980s.

Paul Weller the footballer and Paul Weller the Jamster.

There used to be a player for Preston called Michael Jackson.  At St Andrews we have this thing that when an opposing substitute is announced we all go "whooooooo?"  This time the who was stifled by uproarious laughter.  Within seconds a new chant had started.  "Michael, gissa song, Michael Michael gissa song..."

In the early part of the decade there were two mediocre swingman pitchers named Jeff D'Amico.

There were also, somehow, two Johan Santanas.  The other one then started going by Ervin.

John Madden and the other John Madden, hockey player.

Not quite the same but I always do a double-take when I hear the name of NFL CB Ricky Manning, Jr.  Despite being a black guy I always have to remind myself he's not the "Jr." of the white Indians CF from the '70s and current Tribe color man.

Oh, and there were two Indianapolis drivers in the 40s and 50s called Bill Cantrell - I think one was Willard and the other William.  And two Howdy Wilcoxes in the 1920s.

I think he was a pinch hitter deluxe. Let me look up Dusty Rhodes the baseball player.
