Also the coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins, I believe for their first CUp win in 1991, before dying in the off-season.

Penguins fans, please correct any errors in the above post, please and thanks. :)

Yup - here's their baseball cards from the same year.

One of them was ambidextrous.  I think the guy on the left.

Yup - the guy on the left was ambidextrous. I think that he was pitching for Montreal when a switch hitter came up to bat and they both kept switching sides before a pitch was thrown. Finally the umpire told Harris to pick a side and stick with it.

Georgetown had a point guard during the Ewing era named Michael Jackson.  There was also Alabama Junior Heaveyweight Champion Mike Jackson too.

And an early '90s wide receiver for the Browns.  The relief pitcher usually went by Mike.

Manny Fernandez, Raging Bull; Manny Fernandez, defensive lineman for the '70s Dolphins; Manny Fernandez, goaltender for the Wild and Bruins.  There's never been a Manny Fernandez in baseball, oddly enough.

In addition to the Greg Harrises, there were also two starting pitchers named Bobby Jones.  In 2002 they were both in the Mets rotation.

The St. Louis Cardinals in the mid-'90s had a 4th OF/AAAA journeyman type named Terry Bradshaw.

There was also a Jimmy Johnson that was one of the all-time greatest defensive backs.

I'm shocked we've gotten this far without mentioning the name STEVE ONTIVEROS. That's an uncommon last name, but there were two guys with that exact name that played major league baseball right after the other. One played 3B for the Giants and Cubs in the 70's before signing to play in Japan, the other was a journeyman pitcher that played for a few teams in the 80's and 90's.
