Who are they kidding? Why are they playing this season out? Really?

Can't they just start it now? This is all about if those two teams can avoid injuries all year?

If this does happen, I'll " root" for Kobe, the lesser of Two evils.

Let them play the season out first. How many people picked the Giants &
Rangers for the WS & how many picked the Giants as WS winners ?
Anything can happen (except the Cubs winning the WS).

I'd throw Orlando in there too.

The Eastern Conference is not a foregone conclusion. Miami, Boston or Orlando could be in the NBA Finals. I don't see anyone in the West challenging the Lakers.

If you want to hand the championship to the Lakers or Heat, go ahead.
I'll watch the season play put, even if it does mean another losing season
with the Craptors.

This is the way I see it.  I'll never count these Celtics out and Orlando is the one "Dark Horse" that I see with a shot. Miami will be GREAT by seasons end and the Lakers will almost definitely be there with a legit shot at the three-peat.

Doubtful...Heats bench is crapola...Boston strengthened themselves by picking up Both O Neils, and doubt the Fakers have an answer this year for Rondo...fuckin guys amazing. They've only gotten stronger w/the O Neil pickups....

Both the Lakers and Celtics could be better this year than before, but the Heat does not have a crapola bench.  They have a good stock of role players.

I'll agree with the others... I don't think Miami is a sure thing in the Finals by any stretch... There's a few other teams in the east that could easily be placed in that spot... My money is on the Celtics.
