Man, if Dallas wins this thing, nobody on that team should get a ring but Dirk. Seems like every game they just snooze until Dirk starts hulking up.

If there was ever any doubt in my mind about whether Nowitzki was HOF material, there is none now, win or lose this series.  Even though my home market is in the West, our regional games are usually Lakerscentric.

Until Jon Barry mentioned it this morning on Sportscenter, I didn't realize LBJ has a sum total of 9 fourth quarter points for the entire series, and it being outrebounded and outblocked by Shawn Merriman (my pick for series-changer).  LeBron is an absolute stud of epic proportion, but that just floored me.

I think you mean Shawn Marion, although Shawne Merriman may work too lol.

Wow, this series just keeps getting better.

I want Miami to lose so bad, even if it is The Mavericks (who are NOT a team I like) that beats them.

Just sucks that we have to wait until Sunday night until the next game though.

Yeah, HHUUUGGEEEEEE 3 Pointer in someone's face @ the end...that was awesome...a sort of "Fuck you Lebron" pose afterwards....he played like shit(Lebron). Whole Mavs team played great. They shoot like that again in Miami....Dirk & Co. will win it all.....

Same here. I don't like Dallas and think Mark Cuban is a jackass, but Dirk and Co. deserve to win. They decimated the defending champion Lakers and have played like ones themselves. My disdain for Lebron outweighs my dislike of the Mavs mainly because of Nowitzki and Jason Kidd. They have been in the league for a long time and it's about time they get their rings. I like Dwayne Wade and generally speaking have nothing against the Heat if it wasn't for Lebron. But all the bullshit over the summer with the ESPN special and the rally where they said they could win 6 or 7 championships makes me want to see them fall on their face.

With what money?

And why? You have a team in their first year with over 3 quarters of the team as new players (one of their key vets, Haslem, just came back a couple of weeks ago - MIke Miller just started paying, too) and they are neck and neck (leading for much of the series) in the NBA finals through 6 games.  They are sitting very pretty right now for the next few seasons.  Add a couple well-fitting role payers, sure, but no need for any "stars".

At the buzzer and The Mavericks are up by 9 with one more quarter to play.
