Greene and Lambert were great, but I have to go with Bradshaw and Polamalu

Franco Harris was pretty good himself as were Jack Ham and Mel Blount. I'm torn between Greene, Lambert and Polamalu. I'll have to think this one over and answer later tonight.

I agree with this, but with the Steelers' history, there are a number of directions to go.

Greene and Polamalu.

These would probably have to be my selections as well.

It is difficult to argue about Greene. He was the real beast. He ruled his position during his peak years and opposing players compliment him as being one of the best, if not the best, who they have ever played against.

Lambert is more like a "favorite" Steelers player, but I do not think he was the best in his position.

Bradshaw got the rings, but he was inconsistent and threw alot of picks.

I have seen Polamalu do things that I never seen before, so I have to give him the second slot.

I am looking at the two Steelers who played their positions best compared to other NFL players and historically.

I really wanted to find a spot for Rod Woodson, too,as he was the absolute best I ever saw at his position, but he wasn't a Steeler for life,as was another guy I cinsidred,Mel Blount, who actually had a rile change named after him he was so damn feared.

Jerome Bettis, Donnie Shell, and LC Greenwood aren't even getting mentioned. That shows how many stars Pit. had.
