yeah, playing Oakland, Houston and San Diego, most of which were still trying to get into the playoffs...like I said, he's too good just to sit there, whether you put him in at fullback, WR, SOMETHING, but the dude has talent and needs to be out there..

yeah, for a rookie who wasn't supposed to be able to contribute for several years by almost all accounts, he did pretty damn well, actually. And like I said earlier, his team mates have done nothing but praise his work ethic and leadership. They paint him as one of those guys who works even harder than the hardest working guys on the team. That sounds like a recipe for success to me.

All that hard work doesn't change the fact that in practice Brady Quinn and Kyle Orton are getting in his ass

Thats why they need to give up on him as QB and try him out elsewhere.  The guy has some speed, use him where that is effective.

Give up on a second year player who was drafted with the knowledge that he'd take a few years to develop? Makes ZERO sense.

Maybe Quinn and Orton can lead the Broncos to the Practice Bowl.

Tebow was the third quarterback in Denver's last game. It might not stay that way, and there is a solid chance Tebow simply stays in Denver and learns and the franchise keeps him around.

But do you put a guy you like in that kind of embarrassing situation? Probably not.

What's embarrassing about being a back-up QB in the NFL? I don't get this.

Its Jesus Christ himself.  Just ask CBS, the guy is the lord and savior of all things Football.  The guy could throw 20 TD's in a single game, then perform 10 circumcisions with his teeth 5 minutes after the game ends according to CBS and the SEC

Those are CBS' words. Not Tebow's. CBS might be embarrassed by a young player sitting on the bench and trying to work his way up, but Tebow himself seems to have a MUCH better grasp on reality that that. I know people hate him because the hype the media bestowed upon him, but the guy himself seems as solid as they come and his team mates love him. He has tremendous work ethic and leadership abilities and his team mates recognize it.
Except that he was a high draft pick, that is where the problem is.  If he had been selected in the 2nd round, not a word would be mentioned right now.  But considering where he was picked, the guy should be starting already

That's bullshit and you know it.

People love to rip Tebow and they will never stop.

Tebow is a winner.

He's a good guy that doesn't talk shit and has his life figured out and people hate him for it.

He is a winner, but the coach who drafted him and believed in him aren't there, so he is screwed but Tebow is a gamer i will take him.

The fans are still with him.  I think the overwhelming majority of people in Denver want Tebow to be given a chance and start the year at QB.

he has proven he is not a passer.  He is a runner.  In the NFL that's called a running back, not a quarterback.  Seems like a plan to me

The guy is winning.  I'm not exactly sure how, but that really doesn't matter.

Per http://eye-on-football.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/22475988/33369195

But there’s something about Tebow. I can’t put my finger on it. Obviously, none of his opponents can either. Never have we seen a quarterback who’s so clearly not an NFL quarterback continue to be successful as an NFL quarterback
