I am under no delusion that Tim Tebow is the greatest QB ever. Honestly, he is not a very good QB but, realistically, he is a hell of a football player and yes, I do believe that Tim Tebow won that game last night for the Broncos.

Yes, he had help, as no player can win a game by himself, but what Tebow did last night (as well as in the Miami game) was remarkable. He, and the rest of the team, had sucked the entire game. With the game on the line, he put the team on his back and did what he had to do to win the game. That is what a good, nay, great QB can and will do.

Who gives a shit what his stat line was, who gives a shit how bad his mechanics are, a win is a win and Tebow has lead his team to 4 of them this year so far.

And on another note, I will bet you that 75% of the people that mention how bad Tebow's mechanics and release, etc, are have no idea what the fuck those things even are. They are repeating what the assholes on SportsCenter spew and jumping on the "Tebow Sucks" bandwagon.

P.S. I don't even particularly like Tim Tebow that much, but I do get a kick out of the Armchair QBs of the world who love to rip him and the new and clever ways the come up with to do it even though he keeps winning games.

This.  Can't stand the guy personally but find myself rooting for him as he continues to win while we're all told that he can't play in this league.  Bullshit.

I root for Tim Tebow's continued success simply because it seems to drive so many media pundits and fans crazy. It's as if certain people take it as a personal insult that the Broncos used a first round pick on him, gave him a big contract, decided to start him, and now are actually in the midst of a turn around that may or may not be a mirage. I couldn't care less about Tebow while he was at Florida, but just can't help but pull for him out of spite, if nothing else. I back John Cena for the same reason. The more upset people get with Cena being the WWE's top dog, the more I want him to succeed, just to drive those people even more nuts.

Agreed on Cena.  I was a Tebow doubter, and I think it takes too long for him to throw the ball.  But he's winning right now, and the gimmick offense is working (well, at least in the crunch).  Denver's defense is also doing a hell of a job, but to go from 1-4 with Orton to 4-1 with Tebow is a palpable difference.  The Broncos are in a division with no strong team and could gimmick their way into the playoffs.  Eventually defensive coordinators will figure this thing out, but it has been (or at least become) a fun story.  I'm no bible-thumper myself, but Tebow has been from all accounts a genuine guy, and not the type of religious sort that uses his belief as a hammer to proclaim himself better than other people.  I can dig that, and winning ugly is still winning.

Yep the bottom line is winning and Tebow is winning. It's a bizarre NFL season. One week to the next, I get shocked by the outcomes of games. For the trillionth time, I'm glad I don't bet.

I don't even dislike Tebow.  I think he would make a better RB than QB.  Agree the Broncs have won with him at QB, but he has been a horrible passer.  I don't think this trend will last.  his bad stat lines will eventually catch up with him and the Broncos will not always be in a position for last minuite heroics if they're playing from behind against a good offensive team.  I thought he was overrated in college and frankly got tired of all the Gator fans slobbering all over him.  Maybe if he went to a different school I would feel differently.  We'll see.

I agree on the RB aspect.  The guy can run and it shows.

I agree completely. As a QB, I dont think he'll have long term success. If they were to switch him to rb, or fb, he might have a long career, he can run. Him playing @ Fla, skewed alot of people's opinions on him, as the fans there(and Meyer), tried making him out, like he was the messiah or something, that hurt him a little bit IMO. For whatever reason, he's winning, but like someone said, eventually, they'll figure him out & when they do, he'll struggle.

See the media has become funny Tebow hasn't done anything that Quincy Carter, Mike Vick first yr in ATL, Vince Young or Shaun King hasn't done so why are we so amazed when Tebow does it. I understand he is religious but the fact that people want to spin his success into some remarkable miracle is laughable in all his victories with the exception of the Oakland game the defense has been pretty great also which allows Denver to have very favorable field position so even when tebow is horrible as long as he doesn't turn the ball over he will give his team a chance.

Duh, cause those other QB's were golfers and mainstream USA doesn't want to cheer on a darkie vs a jesus loving whitey.
