NFL Network did the top 10 end zone celebrations/celebrators of all time. Here's the list:

10-The Spike
9-The Ickey Schuffle
8-The Dirty Bird (Falcons)
7-Steve Smith-Panthers
6-Billy White Shoes Johnson
5-The Fun Bunch (Washington Redskins)
4-Ochocinco
3-Lambeau Leap
2-TO
1-Barry Sanders-Hand the ball to the ref

What are your thoughts?

I liked the curveball at #1.
I'd move The Lambeau Leap to #2.
Since White Shoes Johnson and the spike were pioneers I'd put them at 3 and 4.

To me T.O. and Ochocinco are the same. 5 and 6 seems like the correct spot.

The Fun Bunch and Icky are 7 and 8. Then Smith at 9 and the Dirty Bird at 10.

I was surprised the Earnest Givens Electric Slide didn't make the cut. There was also a Cowboy WR who did a 6-gun schuffel, or something. Was it Butch Johnson? Id have put him in my top 10.

No love for Butch Johnson and his California Quake while playing for the Dallas Cowboys in the late 70's - early 80's?

They mentioned it in "the best of the rest" section.

I gotta put White Shoes at No. 1 or No. 2 if you are going to include the Barry Sanders style as a celebration.  I just remember Billy Johnson being remembered as much for his chicken legs dance in comparison with his on field plays.

That's the dance I mentioned, but I just didn't know what it was called. I liked him "pulling the pistols from the holsters".

I agree. Too much of a flash in the pan to deserve mention. The Falcons were good for only that one year anyway.

Not that the Dirty Bird was ever not terrible, but instead of showing Jamal Anderson, they should show Dan Reeves. Reeves had said early that season that if we made the Super Bowl, he'd do the Dirty Bird down Peachtree Street. He did.

Without even seeing it, that image should be enough to constitute never speaking of the Dirty Bird ever again.

Jamal Anderson's career post-Super Bowl should also be enough to constitute never speaking of the Dirty Bird ever again.

They did feature Reeves on the show.

Hanks was shown, but didn't make the cut.

Was Wright the guy who invented the spike? If so he was given credit for it, and shown.

Elmo Wright just about invented the endzone dance in the 60's.
