He already sat out two races over the weekend.
he should be done for the year.

Completely disagree. There's zero precedent from NASCAR about suspending guys for multiple weeks, unless they fail drug tests. Only thing Busch did wrong was make his attempt to wreck Hornaday too obvious.

Carl Edwards got away with sticking Brad Keselowski in the catchfence at Atlanta, and then smashed the hell out of his car in a Nationwide Series race as well, and got sweet fuck all as a suspension.
Except he has a history of doing this shit.  Its obvious that he is not going to learn until drastic measures are done to him.

Hell why should he bother learning if all they are going to do for him doing this year after year is slap him with a chump change penalty and probation for the rest of the year all the time?

I bet he wouldn't do this shit again if Nascar sent his ass home for the remainder of the year after doing this shit again.  But no, Nascar loves to claim they care about driver safety, yet allow an asshole who deliberately wrecks people continue to drive

Looking like Kyle may be done for the year, Gibbs is going to park him. That's the rumor anyway, Gibbs has an announcement at noon, so far this is what I've heard: Z Line Designs, Kyle's Nationwide sponsor, has requested that Gibbs take him out of the car and run Hamlin in it at Homestead. Also, Gibbs could be losing M&Ms, I think they are fed up with Kyle representing them, so Gibbs could be parking him to try and save that sponsorship...if they do park him, Aric Almirola will drive the #18 Cup car the next 2 races..

If this happens, I gotta give Gibbs props, I never thought he had the balls to actually discipline Kyle..

If that happens, I will always support Gibbs teams over anyone else since he has the brains to do what NASCAR refuses to do

KURT Busch loses his ride at Penske, being reported by the Charlotte Observer, gonna be announced officially tomorrow..Penske and Shell finally had enough of his lip and said see ya..last straw was Homestead when fan video showed him in the garage cussing out ESPN's Dr. Jerry Punch, one of THE MOST respected guys in the racing media..if you cuss out Jerry Punch like he did, then you have problems..

he's consistently proven he CAN'T straighten up, just give him time, he'll be out of a ride eventually..

If Penske gives Kurt Busch the boot,I predict that within a week David Reutimann will be named as the new driver.

Which would be a good thing,he's a good driver with a good attitude and deserves a good ride in the top series.

It's official, he's out. And I would LOVE to see Reutimann get the ride, but the talk is it's going to be David Ragan, Shell wants him...

Ragan wouldn't be a bad choice, but I think Reutimann would be the driver with the best chance of winning ASAP.

What I personally would like to see is Aric Almirola get a shot with a big name team and top notch equipment,I know he shared driving duties with Mark Martin in the 8 car the year after Junior left D.E.I.,but that was hardly a top notch team at the time.

NASCAR makes a lot of talk about the drive for diversity and such,Almirola got his start in NASCAR with Gibbs under that program and has proven that if he is given good equipment he can and will ride up front with the best of them, one need look no further than the Busch and Trucks to see that, yet he gets passed over for for better rides by "known" names who are mostly "known" for running mid pack and once in a while contending for wins.

As for Kurt Busch,I have never been a fan of him or liked him,(even if Kyle is my favorite driver),maybe he can toil along in the trucks and Buch series for a few years and eat some humble pie to see how good he had it before he gets another shot at the big time. I have no sympathy for him.

(just for shits and giggles, could you imagine the uproar if he went off on Krista Voda the way he did on Dr. Jerry Punch?)

to be honest, it probably couldn't have been any worse, Dr. Jerry is like THE MOST respected guy in the garage..he really was the LAST guy you want to verbally assault, it's just NOT going to end well for you, no matter who you are...

Kurt will get a ride for the 500 because he has a guarantee in, the past champions provisional..he may get a ride off that, if a new start up came in today, he would get the ride because he can guarantee them a starting spot, at least for the first 5 races. That said, he does have other options, he actually ran a NHRA race last year and has an NHRA license..he could try it over there, Richard Petty did it in the early 70's..plus, I got to imagine EVERY Indycar team would kill to have him, he would give that failing series instant pub...

It's weird, though, KuBu is a proven winner and Penske normally likes those, yet he persists in Indycar with chokemeister Flyin Ryan Briscoe...

And that fucker Helio. I can't believe the two of them still have jobs with him. Dump them both, bring in Kannan and one of the young American drivers.

a proven winner with a proven track record of causing more trouble and grief than he's worth..seriously, this has been building for years, Penske and Shell finally had enough. Let's not forget, this is the same Kurt Busch that berated his team so much when he was at Roush that they quit on him in the middle of the race..after he left Roush he blammed it all on Jack and the Roush organization, well, this is now the 2nd team that washed their hands of him..lol..

Maybe, just maybe if NASCAR,instead of suspending Jimmy Spencer for punching him in the nose had come out and said "hey, you deserved it" Busch would have toned down his act a bit.

A little fear of an ass kicking can go a long ways, and obviously he had no fear of an ass whipping.

he was punched out again in 2008 in the Nascar hauler by Tony Stewart, so even a 2nd ass kicking didn't teach him a lesson..
