We're at that time of year where the Thursday night games are kicking in.

We open the weekend with Oakland at San Diego. There's a three-way logjam of mediocrity at the top of the AFC West (worst?) with the Chargers, Raiders and Chiefs all at 4-4. Winner takes a half game lead.

Moving on to Sunday we'll find out if the Bengals are for real as they host the Steelers. Can the Colts get their first win?  Could be a good spot for them as the offensively inept Jacksonville Jags invade town. Undoubtedly though the top 1:00 game is New Orleans at Atlanta.

Later in the afternoon we find the Giants at San Fran (very interesting) and Detroit at Chicago.  The Sunday night prime time game is New England at the Jets. Monday night on paper looks to be a mismatch (GB-Minny) but it's a divisonal rivalry and Minny will run the ball and play tough defense so anything can happen.

Your picks, fantasy moves, opinions, comments before, during and after the games we do all that. Bookies odds from the Vegas Hilton. If you're in the "Pick Em Pool" remember that the Thursday games are starting now.

Oakland at San Diego (7)
Pittsburgh (3) at Cincy
Denver at Kansas City (3)
Jacksonville (3) at Indy
Buffalo at Dallas (5.5)
Houston (3) at Tampa Bay
Tennessee at Carolina (3)
Washington at Miami (3.5)
New Orleans at Atlanta (Pk)
Detroit at Chicago (3)
St Louis at Cleveland (2.5)
Arizona at Philly (14)
Baltimore (6.5) at Seattle
NY Giants at San Fran (3.5)
New England at NY Jets (1.5)
Minnesota at Green Bay (13.5)

Fuck! I can't catch a break. I lost Andre Johnson and Miles Austin to injury, so I picked up Jacoby Ford, and he went down tonight.

Should be a great game, wish they were showing the game nationally.

DeSean Jackson to sit out today for missing a team meeting. Is this the start of a revolt in Philly against Coach Reid?
