yeah, if you were in a coma for 10 years and just turned Nascar back on this weekend, hearing Ward Burton in the truck race and Frankie CC'ing in the Cup series for Terry Labonte, you'd think nothing had really changed with those guys..lol..

Ward is another favorite of mine... another nice guy IMO when I met him.

Carl is telling Bob on the radio he's losing fuel pressure, dropping down to 40, then 20..only on the backstretch..sounds like another gauge issue..now he says the engine is missing some...damnit..

I wonder how many more cars would be running into the overheating issues if they ran yesterday when it was like in the 80's there... running at night has to be helping a little bit.

Oh yeah, the cooler temps here at night are saving a LOT of engines...
BTW, Carl switched ignition boxes and now it's running fine..

Jeff Burton going to have to take a penalty for coming down a pit road that's closed.

It has to be worse to run it dry now with fuel injection, doesn't it?

Elliott Sadler is having a lousy night. He caused Johnson's crash, now he is being bounced around like a pinball on pit road because he can't find his pit stall. He is really pissing away his opportunity to get back in Cup full-time.

yeah, DW actually pointed it out, they have 3 pickups in the fuel tank now instead of just one in the old system, so if you run out now, you are TOTALLY out, it's not like you have a little left..

I'll have to ask my buddy about this, but I know I was always told in a street car not to run it totally out of gas because when you get down low a lot of debris and stuff in the bottom of your tank can clog your injectors and make them run spotty..

The fact that he was in Harvick equipment in Nationwide last year and ran the entire season and never scored a win tells me all I need to know about him..

Danica 39 laps down, but they still ride along with her... She is going to be the story at all 10 races she is in this year.

Less than 50 laps left, but weather could be a factor.

Kenseth leading after earlier having a car look like Old Faithful

Gotta give Nascar props, they really got the package right on these cars this race...old school pack racing, with a hint of the tandem stuff..best of both worlds..fun race so far. Not a lot of crazy stuff, but a lot of drama so far..
