With the draft and free agent season approaching, in what areas does your area need to improve? Who is out there that can step in and fill those holes?

The Packers need to rediscover their pass rush. Losing Cullen Jenkins to free agency last year was a big part of that. Since the Packers really don't partake in free agency they will have to address this through the draft. I'm not sure who is out there who on the collegiate level who can step in and fill that role.

Also, there is talk of the Packers not re-signing Scott Wells. If that is the case I would love to see them draft Peter Konz of Wisconsin. However, I think he will probably be off the board by then.

Until we get a better understanding of what the Colts are going to do with their defense, I'm not sure what the needs really are yet.   Robert Mathis is a free agent as of 03/15.  But if they're going to a 3-4 scheme, I can see that maybe he's to small for that role.

Definitely need a QB, Manning is gone.  But we all know they will draft Luck.  They need a better running game, as Addai just isn't an every down back.  Donald Brown is good, but also isn't either.   Dallas Clark is getting up there in years.  Reggie Wayne is also a FA and though he says he wants to come back, he may not.  There's even talk that him and Manning would be a package deal.  For some unknown reason, Garcon turned down a 5 year contract.  Not sure if it was money or not, but I can't see any team spending big bucks on him either due to his inconsistency.  He's someone that can make spectacular plays, but also is known for drops in key down situations.  Saturday is considering retirement.  There's a LOT of work to be done on this team and I don't expect them to be truly competitive for at least 2-3 seasons.

Much of what the Saints are going to do depends on which of their own free agents they resign.  Brees is going nowhere, and I see them doing everything they can to keep Carl Nicks.  Nicks and Evanas are the best guard tandem in the league and they have a ton to do with their ability to protect Drew and and to have a good running game.  Two others I hope they keep are Marques Colston and Tracy Porter.  If Colston leaves I think they feel they are deep enough at receiver to move on.  Colston is cllutch and if they let him walk I think they will miss his size and jumping ability as he has made many catches where Drew puts it where only he can get it.  If they let Porter go they will need to get another solid CB.  They have Greer and Robinson, but in the pass happy NFL three solid CBs are damn near a necessity.  Robert Meachem is most likely gone.  I like him, but he and Devery Henderson are essentially interchangeable.  They do need to shore up their defense.  I am not sold on Dunbar and Casillas at LB. Don't get me wrong, they are solid, but the Saints need game changers at that position.  I am hoping Tom Johnson gets a more prominent role at DT this year.  He was an All Star in Canada and looked good in his limited chances last year.   The simple fact is the Saints have two, maybe three years left to be serious contenders for another title.  They are starting to lose players and one thing that has helped them has been their depth.

The Lions need help on the o line, mlb, safety, cb.

They need to stop ignoring the o line & use one of their first 2 picks on this. Unless they want to see the run game stifled & Stafford possibly go down again.

Id trade Avril if they cant sign him& try to fleece someone for a few nice picks in return.

Sign CJ long term, maybe re work Staffords deal, so you can free up some $$.

Minnesota Vikings

Offensive line

Secondary

defensive line

wide receiver

I think they still need a QB as they blew it on Ponder

lets say they have a good Running back, 1 or 2 good linemen on both sides of the ball and need everything else

Steelers:

QB depth (the backups they have are decent but fragile)
O-line (the starters are decent to great, but there's no depth at all if/when any of them get dinged up)
Inside LB (none of the guys they've drafted have really panned out yet)

Depending on what kind of offense Haley goes with, I'd like to see them have an actual fullback on the roster again instead of using a third string TE in the role. The decline of their run game can be traced back to when Dan Krieder retired, since he was the last time they had an actual FB on the roster.

So who is out there, either pending free agents or draft-eligible college players, who you would like to see your team(s) go after?

Well, the Colts will take Luck in round one.  I'd love to get Trent Richardson in as the top RB, but he'll be gone by the middle of round one.  So maybe Lamar Miller out of Miami.  However, with the possibility of both Wayne and Garcon being gone, I imagine they'll go after a receiver.

I like the Randle kid out of LSU.
