Thats a good pick up. Now when McFadden gets his yearly injury whose gonna be the Raiders runningback? Taiwan Jones?

This is true. McFadden is fantastic when he plays but he's basically "Fragile Fred". They need a backup plan.

This is what I saw as well.

I looked up the stats. I don't remember the game specifically , but I didn't recall him fucking up the game. It sounds like it was more a case of not being able to make plays rather than a guy throwing a bunch of picks and losing the game.

Ben, don't you think they would have won had they not given away points on the two punt fuck ups?

Thats it right there.  San Fran would have gone to the SB if they had fielded two punts more than likely, or the D held both drives and allowed no points to score

They were losing the field position battle in the second half and OT. Smith...3 plays and out. Manning a first down or two before they punted. It played out that way in OT too before the fumble. Manning picks up a first down before they had to punt. Smith 3 and out. The Niners lived on winning field position and turnovers. When the game went into OT the only way the Niners would win was through a turnover. Unfortunately the Giants got the fumble.

How come the Lions haven't made any moves in FA? Their running game is the shits, and you'd figure they'd have at least made a move to get a guy like Tolbert. With Chicago making big moves this offseason to improve, Detroit might be looking at falling back to 3rd in the division
