Because of salary cap hell, it's amazing how many good players the Hawks have lost the last few years. Troy Brouwer listed above, Kris Versteeg, Andrew Ladd, Brian Campbell, Big Buf, John Madden just to name a few.

Caps 1 Bruins 0 at the end of the second period.

Chicago picked up a 2011 1st round pick ( 26th overall ) from Washington for Brouwer which is a nice return for a guy with a career high of 40 points.

Only if the draft pick develops into a good player. We'll see during the next few years how well Stan Bowman can draft.

Washington goalie Braden Holtby is standing on his head. Still 1-0 Caps with 10+ minutes to go in the 3rd period.

Marchand ties it up. I jinxed the Washington goalie. The clawmaster curse strikes again.

Pouliot scored for Boston. Maybe you're looking into the future and Marchand will score the OT winner. If there is a clawmaster curse could you please start cheering for Washington.

You reversed the curse CH... the Caps got it in the second OT to win 2-1

Holtby is the best Goalie in the Wshington system. He will be the #1 starting next year.

Dammit - I thought that by pointing out the reverse I was actually reversing the reverse. :X

In other games,

Ottawa beat NYR 3-2 in OT on a goal by Chris Neil to tie the series at 1.

St. Louis tied the series by beating San Jose 3-0.

Coyotes leading Hawks 2-1 early in the 2nd period
