What a fucking joke. Nevermind the fact the ball was picked off, the push off was so blatant it wasnt funny. This really is a joke. Good job, NFL!

I would expect the real refs back next week. The replacement refs just cost a team a game.

As a Bears fan, I agree.

The sort of people I follow on Twitter are likely to support the strikers anyway, but this seems to have just about everyone up in arms. Can't the team that got beat by a blatantly dodgy call sue the commish? I know absolutely nothing about how the NFL works.

No, because their CBA makes the commish the Judge/Jury/Executioner. That's being tested because one of the Saints players suspended for issuing bounties is suing the NFL and so far the courts are not listening to the league's request to dismiss it.

I was willing to give the replacements a chance to improve, but this week ended that feeling.  Last night alone, plus the Baltimore/New England game shows that Goodell needs to swallow his pride and get the real officials back on the field ASAP.

Its so bad now, I really do not want to watch the games for the play on the field anymore, I want to watch the games to see how badly the refs can fuck things up now, and that is not what the NFL wants.

That slip by Ogletree should be enough to embarrass the NFL, but obviously it wasn't.  Incredible.

that could have happened with the regular refs, that's just a fluke thing, has nothing to do with them being replacements..

Uhh, except...you're wrong because the regular ref at least know not to throw the ball into the endzone and throw it down at their own feet.

Clay Matthews is a punk and I hope someone takes his head off next game. He didn't tweet Roger Goodell's number, he tweeted his OFFICE number. Roger isn't going to get a single call, but some poor office worker making probably $30k a year is having their day ruined because of that shaved steroid monkey...

NO, the only thing the NFL wants is for people to watch the games, they could give a shit WHY they watch. So if you're watching, they win.

I imagine this would do it.  If they're not back next week, they won't be back all season.  I was rooting for the replacement refs, but it didn't work out.
