He's been worse than Bettman for quite some time.

Bettman's had three lockouts on his watch, keeps teams in money losing markets because he doesn't want to be seen as failing, and cancelled an entire season. Goodell is nowhere near as bad at Mini-Stern is.

Goodell is the Commissioner of a major sports league.  Bettman is the Commissioner of the NHL.  I don't see how that's a fair comparison.  It's like comparing Vikram Pandit to the 8-year old who had a rough day managing her lemonade stand.  I mean neither is doing a great job but it's not really an apples to apples comparison.

To be fair, the NFL is in its own category when it comes to revenues

MLB, NBA are below the NFL

Then you have the NHL

So it is hard to say which is worse, because few are on the same level

True but it sounded more to me that he was comparing the NHL to the CFL or Arena Football.

This line by Packers guard T.J. Lang has already become the third most re-tweeted in Twitter history, and is on pace to break the record:

"Fuck it NFL. Fine me and use the money to pay the regular refs."

Floyd Mayweather is 1 and Justin Bieber is 2.  I don't know what their actual tweets were though.

This is now a campaign issue as both Obama and Ryan embarrass themselves by talking about this garbage, but they both agree that it's time to get the real refs back.  I sense that Ryan doesn't actually understand what he's talking about though and just put words together to blame Obama somehow.

Obama: ''There was a real problem with that call.  It was terrible.  I've been saying for months we've got to get our refs back.  NFL fans on both sides of the aisle hope the refs' lockout is settled soon.  (The replacement refs) have been put in a tough situation.  But the fact is this is a fast, tough game to control.  And it doesn't make sense to me for a league that's been so successful not to want to put their very best out there.''

Ryan: ''It reminds me of President Obama and the economy.  If you can't get it right, it's time to get out. I half think that these refs work part-time for the Obama administration in the budget office.  They're trying to pick the winners and losers, and they don't even do that very well.''

I'm surprised I haven't heard this yet, but even though the Packers were screwed, their own player also screwed them.  If you EVER played defense you were told ONE THING about Hail Mary passes...  KNOCK IT DOWN, don't catch it.  There's too much of a chance the ball pops up in the air and somebody else catches it.  If Jennings hadn't been so greedy wanting the INT he may have just knocked it down.  It was obvious from the tape that it would have been easy for him to do so.

Unbelievable.  and don't get me started on all the defensive holding calls against the Pats as the Ravens made that drive with 2:00 to go.  I had heard the refs were favoring home teams more than the regular refs.  BOTH Monday and Sunday evening games proved this to be true.

The Titans tried that earlier in the day and batted the ball right into a Lions players hands.
Green Bay should worry about how crappy they played last nite. No Offensive line and no running game. Its gonna be a long season for the Pack.
