Rex Ryan, Andy Reid and Ron Rivera

How many of these three will be around next season?

All three gone?

I'm not sold on Ryan being gone. I think if they end up at 6-10 (and they are on that pace) he will but their schedule is workable the second half.

Reid will go somewhere else and win the Lombardi trophy there in his first try (LOL)

What do ya'll think of Mike Holmgren getting back into coaching? I thought he was horribly over-rated.

I think Reid goes, because Philly is irreparable at this point.  Somebody has to pay the price for the make-up of that team and the execution.

Carolina is just a mess under Rivera.  The franchise QB is pissed.  He i coming right out and basically criticizing management during interviews.  The team has regressed.  I have said it before, but this may be why Rivera has been passed over so man times for other head coach positions.

Ryan's position is more complex, because I do not know who is calling the shots in regards to the draft and the team acquisitions.  Sanchez needs benched.  The whole Tebow issue is just another distraction.  I would not want this guy as a starting QB on my team.  If Ryan has had any say in the acquisitions of players like Tebow, he should be gone.

Holmgren is vastly overrated in my opinion.  Did he say he wants to come back to coaching?  If he did, then it is probably trying to rescue his name after his disastrous tenure as GM in Cleveland.

I believe if Ryan tosses out that entire offense, other than Mangold and Ferguson next season, he should be back in New York. Everyone else on that offense sucks, including the co-ordinator.

I'm not a fan of Holmgren either and I don't understand why he keeps getting NFL jobs. He recently told the media that he would be interested in the Dallas Head Coach job if Jason Garrett gets fired. Now to me that's a pretty classless thing to do as he should wait until Garrett gets canned ( which might not be that far down the road anyway ) before announcing his interest in the job.

EDIT - Here's the Holmgren story from the nfl.com site:

Mike Holmgren regularly told beat reporters in Cleveland he didn't want to coach the Browns during his three-year reign there because he didn't have the desire to return to the sideline.

It appears "The Walrus" has regained his fire.

CBSSports.com's Jason La Canfora told "The NFL Today" on Sunday that Holmgren -- after his unsuccessful stint as president of the Browns -- has "serious interest" in coaching the Dallas Cowboys if Jason Garrett is fired.

Sources close to Holmgren told La Canfora he's attracted to the role "given the competitiveness of the roster, the skill players present, and his long relationship with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones."

Holmgren and Jones worked together for a decade-plus on the NFL's Competition Committee, but there's no indication the Cowboys have any interest in the former Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks coach. La Canfora reported that Holmgren is looking for a "perfect scenario," and will retire if it doesn't materialize.

The report is likely to draw the ire of fans in Cleveland, where Holmgren failed to develop a winner and left Pat Shurmur in charge of a team that hasn't won a playoff game since January 1995.

That warming seat in the NFL? Hotter and hotter by the day.

So basically Holmgren had the cushy job upstairs and lost that. So he's available to coach again.

Holmgren left Green Bay because he wanted the GM job there too.

I think all three get axed even though I agree Ryan is the more likely to keep his job another year, but he needs to solve his QB issue at the very least.

It's possible that Philly doesn't "fire" Reid and they just offer him another position in the organization higher-up.

Not sure the situation in Philly is irreparable though. You get your O-line back next year, you get Foles a year of work, you lose D-line coach Jim Washburn and his "wide nine" basically so your def-coordinator can operate using "his" system. About $20 million under the cap and it looks like a high draft pick coming up. That doesn't sound like they'll be down for long if they think this all through.

The easy solution that I would do is get rid of both Sanchez and Tebow.

Yeah Rex is being praised for his "decisiveness" and "loyalty" in terms of the QB issue/Sanchez and I am sure he just feels like he just doesn't have another option.

Oh and Norv Turner is as good as gone also.

They'll be as many as ten head coaching vacancies in the NFL this offseason and  ninny Norv will still be out of luck.

maybe Phillip Rivers needs a change of scenery

Wow!  Good call, yellowdog.  That possibly could work, but the Jets need to get rid of the entire pile of shit not just part of it.
