Holy smoke this gave me goosebumps....opening night intro for HNIC.

- not enough Bobby Orr. He's Bobby " I'M THE GREATEST FUCKING HOCKEY PLAYER EVER " Orr so he should have been seen a lot more.

They had tons of Gretzky, you just needed to pay better attention.

Always nice to see Lanny McDonald's game winner in His last game. Also, too much Crosby in it. Also, when did P.J. Stock become a member of the Hotstove?

I think when Pierre Lebrun left for the greener pastures of TSN/ESPN last year.

Yesterday's games on NBC had the highest non-Winter Classic, non-Finals ratings in 10 years. All of yesterday's games sold out (even in Tampa Bay, Florida, Dallas and Nashville). The lockout may have been the best thing to happen to the NHL.

Hawks beat Phoenix 6-4 last night. Ray Emery still scares me.

Hawks goaltending in general is the shits. If they don't upgrade, they don't do anything this year.

(I am NOT advocating for Roberto LOLongo. Let me be clear on that.)

I agree. I don't trust Crawford either. When is the trade deadline in this shortened season?

April 5th, I think. Something like that.

Bryz could be had from the Flyers.

LOL, no thanks. Even if you guys ate some of that contract, it's waaaay too long.

Bryz is the kind of goalie that plays best on a team that has no defense. He'd be awesome in Columbus, for example, losing games 2-1 while getting peppered with 50 shots.

Rangers look like they won't win this entire year. I've seen my wife have better periods than they have had this year.

Nope - it's on Wednesday April 3rd.

Chicago just picked up Henrik Karlsson ( 1-4-2 record last season with a 3.17 GAA and a .900 Save Pct. ) from Calgary for a 7th round pick in the 2013 draft. Honestly - if I was Chicago's GM I would rather have this guy instead of Emery backing up Crawford this season.
