Big deal - the Bruins marched into Winterpeg Sunday afternoon and beat the mighty Jets by the same score.

Nope. Just being honest. Rask has been solid and the Bruins can roll over 4 lines just like the Hawks can.

To be honest - I'm thrilled so far with the Bruins season. There are only 2 problems with this team right now that can hopefully get fixed ASAP. The first one is how poorly the 3rd line ( Peverley, Kelly and Bourque ) has played but I'm hoping that once Caron comes back that they will start clicking. The other problem ( and stop me if this sounds familiar ) is the continuing troubles on the PP. It really baffles me how a team with so many good offensive players just can't seem to put a decent PP together.
Looking ahead I can certainly see a Chicago vs Boston match-up in the Finals. Hopefully by then Boston will have fixed the 2 above problems and maybe even added another scoring option with the extra $ 5 million in cap space from the Tim Thomas deal.

As a Ranger fan, I share your pain. If we could have a 17-18% PP, we'd be in 1st instead of languishing in 3rd. We go out and get Rick Nash, and the PP still sucks. We could have Gretzky in his prime, and he'd be a 25 goal guy in this offense.

The Hawk power play, while better this year, is still not good considering the skill level of the players patrolling it.

I agree with CH... we discussed the B's this weekend, and my biggest point against the B's is the lack of the power play, although when they won the cup, I believe they only had one PP goal the whole post season... no way they can do it again with that lack of production when a man up.

Not surprised the Blackhawks are doing this well... with the team they have, I thought last season they were going to win it all... will be shocked this year if they dont make it to the Finals.

Anyone else think Matt Cooke hurt Karlsson on purpose? I hated him since he basically ended Marc Savards career, so I am biased on if he did it on purpose.

I'm no Cooke apologist but I don't think so. Just some very bad luck for Karlsson in this case. IMO.

Brent Seabrook not playing for the Hawks tonight against the Canucks. Emery starting in goal. This could be the night the streak ends.

It looked like Seabrook got hit in the jewels with a slap shot during Chicago's last game against the Kings but he came back later on and scored a goal and picked up an assist. Officially Chicago is calling it a " lower body injury ". He is listed as day-to-day so hopefully he just misses tonight's game vs Vancouver - not that I give a crap about Chicago but it's just that I have Seabrook on 3 of my Fantasy Hockey teams. As for Emery - I am not a fan of his at all but he has played great so far this season with a 5-0 record and a 2.17 GAA along with a .929 Save Pct.
