Did anybody get this, yet?   The price is very decent.  The reviews look pretty good.  I would like to hear from anybody here if they have purchased this.

It sounds like they may put out a series for each year.  I loved this show.  I can only hope that they continue adding seasons through the 80's.

Mel Allen made TWIB. When they tried to resurrect it with other hosts (Johnny Bench, Ozzie Smith, etc.) it just wasn't the same.

Edit - I was hoping I could rent it from Netflix but no luck. But it is only $9.99 to purchase on Amazon, plus it looks like it has the entire shows for the entire season. Thanks for posting about it, I just bought myself an early Christmas present.

I bought this.  It's awesome.  I highly recommend it to anybody that loved the show like I did, and I also highly recommend that people pay the ten bucks so that more seasons come out.

It's the entire first season on two discs, every episode is complete and the quality is very high.  It's the first sports DVD that I actually sat and watched in its entirety in one night in a long, long time.

You just sold me on it.  I am buying it.  I want to see more seasons released.

Awesome. Long before ESPN, this was the only way to see highlights of non-local teams.

Yep. The shit was usually two weeks old, but it didn't matter.
Loved the closing theme song too.  Great stuff.

I won't trade or shill this for the simple reason that at $10 for a two DVD set brand new from Amazon, it's affordable for everybody...and like I said, the more people that buy it, the more seasons that come out.  I want to get up to at least 1984.

The one thing we have going for us is that it's "DVD On Demand", meaning they burn the discs when you order them.  If they digitize the library, it costs very little.  To not burn an inventory means they can turn a profit very easily, thus more sets come out.

Please - if you're a baseball fan, support this product!!!

This. That show was great.

Not sure I could watch old episodes now though. Maybe a few for shits and giggles.

This.  Great when I was a kid, but I'm not sure I could get through a full season now.
