In '83 Parcells started Brunner but during the sixth game put in Simms.  Simms injured his thumb on his second drive and was out the rest of '83 also.

Thanks!

Wade said TO will play Sunday, period.

Good thing that coaches never lie about injuries. ;)

He plays. The guy is a gamer. (where's the sports cliche list?)

And he "gets great separation after the catch".  His buddy, Marion Barber, is a hell of a "downfield runner".

Both those guys give "110% out there" and take it "1 game at a time."

I assume you mean they "leave it all on the field" while "wearing their heart on their sleeve."

Of course.  They "know what's at stake" and both those guys are "big time players'.

But do they "bring their game faces?"

Not only do they " bring their game faces " but they will be " wearing their game faces. "

I posted this in the playoff thread...

I'll save everyone the trouble.

The Cowboys suck. Romo is gay. T.O. is a punk. Roy Williams plays dirty. KrazyKid was right. Eli Manning is the man.

Did I miss anything?

I'll hold off on the GB avatar for now.

EDIT: Go Packers  <-------- See avatar.

In all fairness, I went by my 1986 rule (Giants beating the Redskins 3 times) and assumed the Giants would lose.  Why they did not involve Marion Barber more in the second half is beyond me.  He was an animal in the first half.

that hurt them, starting him, and allowing the giants to get all his hits in the first half, by the second half adjustments are made,, thats why barber is good, in the second half your worn down, and he is just too much to tackle,

I totally agree. That is exactly why Barber is as good as he is. Bad decision IMO.
