The Super 70's

By Tom Danyluk

This is a big paperback book filled with stories and interviews.  A unique style to the writing in this book.

Years ago I read a book by Roy Blount about the Steel Curtain Steelers. He became close with Mel Blount and given their common geographic heritage, they both decided that it was likely that one of Roy's ancestors may have owned one of Mel's ancestors. Imagine saying that in the current political climate.
The second point I remember was a candid discussion of how the Steelers' linemen were taking women's birth control pills, since in those dark days the concept was to raise the testosterone level of women to the point they would stop ovulating.
I'll be damned but I cannot remember the name of that book to save my life...
