Ohio Sate Buckeyes QB J.T. Barrett is out for the year after having suffered a broken ankle in the Buckeyes win over Michigan.

This one really stings as a Buckeyes fan, J.T. was a redshirt freshman who came from the bench with hardly any notice at all when Braxton Miller, the started from last year and a front runner for the Heisman went down in the preseason.

J.T. took a few games to figure it out, including a loss to lowly Virginia Tech, but when he and the team figured things out the offense became almost unstoppable, averaging 51.6 PPG, and J.T. set a big 10 record for TDs responsible for in a single season, eclipsing Drew Bree's record.

Now we have to go with our Cardale Jones, who has no time for any creampuff games as next up is Wisconsin in the Big 10 title game, then whatever bowl game or playoff the Bucks get to play.

This really sucks, there is no doubt in my mind that the boys would have beaten Whisky, and with Mississippi State going down the Bucks should have been one of the 4 teams in the CFB playoff, now I'm not even certain of beating the Badgers (I'm still optimistic, just not nearly as certain), and I know there's no chance at all of winning the whole enchilada (probably wouldn't have anyways, but it would have been fun to see)

Anyways, fuck it, the Bucks beat that school from up north (again), and should be set quite well for a QB next year be it Miller or Barrett, but this still sucks, how can you lose not 1 but 2 great QBs in the same damn year?

Being a Spartan, I'm not an Ohio supporter, but after they beat us I was resigned to them making the playoffs. I was actually excited to see what they could do against the Alabamas, Ducks and Seminoles of the world.

I don't know if they could have beaten them or not, but it would have been some good games and not blowouts like the last few times.
