Here are the 15 finalists.

Kurt Warner
Junior Seau
Orlando Pace
Terrell Davis
Tim Brown
Charles Haley
Marvin Harrison
John Lynch
Kevin Greene
Wil Shields
Jerome Bettis
Morten Andersen
Tony Dungy
Jimmy Johnson
Don Coryell

Five can be elected.  A good case can be made for all of them. At the moment I would pick Seau, Shields, Haley, Harrison and Pace.

Who would you put in?

I'm going to go with these 5 guys:

Junior Seau-should be automatic

Orlando Pace-ditto

Kurt Warner-hasn't been a QB in a while and he was one of my favorites-plus I might not be alive to see JaMarcus Russell get in, lol.

Charles Haley-passed over enough times I think

Don Coryell(my dark horse pick-never won a SB but I don't think the game is what it is today in terms of offensive systems as I think every successful offense since Air Coryell is just a slightly modified version of what he created.

I think he will eventually make it just on numbers but his play was just steady not spectacular. Kinda like Reggie Wayne. Think Harrison has slightly better numbers than Brown so I voted for him instead of Brown.

Who would you put in?
Seau, Shields, Pace, Warner, Haley.

IMO, Marvin Harrison is the most overrated WR in NFL history and was a product of Peyton Manning. He spent a career falling on the ground catching square outs. He was tough with a gun after his career but a pussy on the field.

Why should Warner make it, Devil's Advocate asks?

I agree with Brown. Lot of stats but nothing stands out for me. Deserves in but would not be surprised if he does not go in.

Seau lock.

Pace lock.

I like Haley this year.

Bettie's goes in eventually.

I'm not waving the flag for Harrison. There's a lot of  truth to what you say. I just think - based on numbers alone - he goes in this year. The off-the-field stuff may keep him out a while though. He wasn't the most popular fellow during his playing days either.

You're right with his stats-the knucklehead writers will vote him in. But Reggie Wayne, IMO, was always a superior player and not a Manning product. If you gave Harrison anyone other than an HOF QB, he'd be average in stats to below average.
