As a Cowboys fan, I can't even explain to you how happy I am that Chip Kelly is running the Eagles.

Probably as happy as people are of the Jones/Garrett team in Dallas.

I'll take Kelly as the coach, not real thrilled with 'Kelly The GM" but I'm willing to 'wait and see' I guess.
Most of us are happier than pigs in shit. We got DeMarco's yards, you're paying for them.

Yeah, unless they figure out a way to bring Dallas o-line with him and make him repeat his"contract year", I'm skeptical.

Know what's sort of amazing: The NFL agrees almost to a consensus regarding RB usage and that all are almost worthless beyond x amount.

That sort of analysis seems not to exist for other positions.

I can tell you straight up as a Colts fan, the RB position is really not as devalued as some analysts are making it out to be.

I assume the Cowboys are going to try and get their hands on 'AP'

If Stephen (and make no mistake, he's running things now not Jerry) wasn't willing to pay Murray ridiculous money, they certainly won't take on AP's $11 million dollar cap hit.

I think they may give Ray Rice a 1 year, incentive based contract, and since he's in no position to turn anything down, even if he has a great season it'll only cost a few million bucks, and draft a RB in the 2nd or 3rd round.

I'm with Chris, no way they'll cough up that kinda money for a guy that didn't even play last year.

Word is, they'll address the position in the draft and maybe pick up a guy on the cheap.  Guys like Moreno, Spiller (who looks to sign with Saints), Bush, Rice, McFadden and Thomas can all probably be had on much more cap friendly deals as veteran guys.

Peterson is the only guy worth that money. He's top-10 all-time for RB's and a freak.  Murray, McCoy, etc....are nothing compared to Peterson.
I liked Rice at Rutgers but he's toast. Can't believe Jerry's Arkansas love brought big-bust McFadden to Big D!
Dank brought up Moreno. He's a fantastic player. I wish the Giants would sign him already-he's from Hack's hometown in NJ and belongs home, dammit!

If DMC can stay healthy he has the talent to shake the bust label.

Healthy is the key part. If he manages to stay healthy, he'll be successful behind that o-line. It ain't the garbage he played with in Oakland.

It was a low risk, potential high reward signing.

I just don't think he brings much to the table without Run and Jam Master Jay

So far, an underwhelming effort by the incredibly hard to figure Jerry Reese and the Giants. He has signed shitty players all the way around except for overpaying for Shane Vareen.

Can the fucking Maras fire this douchebag already?
