In 7 seasons he only played a full season once and that was last year splitting time with Murray and MJ Drew. The guy is just too fragile.

This. There's no way a bust going in to his 8th season is a breakout superstar. It's not like he was buried on the bench. He played, he blew, he got hurt.

If in the very, very small chance he succeeds, it's due to Dallas' kick-ass line.

That was going to be my point.

He's never played behind such a talented line in the pro's.   That counts for a lot.  I don't think he'll have Murray's numbers, but I think he'll be well worth what they paid for him.  And they'll most likely add someone in the draft.

Running backs are not quarterbacks. They don't get better with age. Usually a running backs best years are his first three and then the tend to go downward from there. There are a few exceptions but those are Hall of Famers, but most backs have short careers.

I'm not saying he'll fill the role, I'm saying that I think he'll have a much more productive season than he's had for some time while out in Oakland.

And considering the low pay, I think it'll be worth it for them.

I think Dallas will draft a RB in the 3rd or 4th round this year. Their top 2 or 3 picks will likely all be Defensive players.

I'd bet McFadden will have 2-3 games of 100+ yards to get Cowboys fans excited. ESPN will then run a piece on his "resurgence" and he'll hit IR the very next week.

He'll get shampoo in his eyes taking a shower and be out for 6 weeks

He'll get shampoo in his eyes taking a shower, slip on a rubber ducky, and be out for the entire season.
Fixed

He's going from the 32nd ranked rushing offense(shakes head) to the 2nd ranked rushing offense.  That alone should make Run DMC better in Dallas.

But teams playing Dallas had to key on DeMarco most of the time leaving Romo Cop free to do his thing.  Doubt teams are going to be filled with worry going up against Dallas and seeing McFadden in the backfield.  If he stays healthy he should of course do better behind a superior offensive line.  I'll be surprised if he doubles his rushing yardage from 2014 which would just put him over 1000 yards.  Murray had what 450 touches and McFadden about 200.

I think the Cowboys sign another RB on the cheap and definitely draft one or two.

I just read that in 16 career games, he had 17 passing TDs, 9 ints, 943 yards rushing and 12 rushing TDs.
He can't play QB by the eye test but neither could Billy Kilmer and he did okay.  Tebow is, at the moment, a better success than Johnny Football or RG3.

Matt Schaub is available now for teams looking for someone to keep a clipboard company.  Let's hope the Raiders spend the 5.5M in savings wisely.

It just gets better for the Niners.

Last years Rookie Linebacker( Chris Borland) and player who was expected to take over for the recently retired Patrick Willis decided to call it quits.

How is Bowman coming along with his injury? Will he be ready to play at the start of the season? Niners aren't in too bad of shape in the LB corps if Bowman is ok, though Borland was and/or was going to be one hell of a player.
